I was going to say the same as Birdie, looks like you could dress it down. Think of all those holidays you go on with your girls, you'd have plenty of chances to wear it! It is very pretty, but I'm very poor so really need to stop looking at it, and mentally swishing around in it *tear*

'Yayy' for getting the marriage booked (I don't know what to call it, is that right?!) Must be so weird to be properly married, before actually having the wedding. I really do love that dress though *sighs*

It will be a bit weird Cinny, but needs must! We may have to use 'fun' rings instead of real ones so it's not too official feeling! I'll be Mrs H for 2 weeks before everyone else knows it, how odd! At least I can practice my new signature a lot before I get to start using it!

I told my Mum about the registry office being booked and that we'd take them out for lunch afterwards and she reminded me that she's still got to meet OH's Dad.... urgh I've been avoiding this! It's looking inevitable though, we'll have to sort out a breakfast meeting so they don't have to be together for too long. Even OH admits that his Dad'll be awful, he's got a real chip on his shoulder and if he thinks that someone is cleverer than him, or more successful he automatically assumes that they're looking down their nose at him and he gets all sulky and decides he hates them! So that's not great as my Dad is both clever and successful, but completely lovely to go with it! To top it off the only things OH's Dad is interested in and will talk about are computers and church. My parents are both useless with technology, simply buying things because they look cool and have no idea how they work and they're both totally anti-religion so it'll be a fun breakfast!

Hello! Just thought I'd update you with what I've been working on. This is my card 'post box' made from the plain hat boxes I got from Hobbycraft, I've covered them with satiny fabric and ribbons. It's still lacking a bit of je ne sais quoi and the flowers there just to give a general idea but I'm fairly pleased with the progress!

No I don't stickers I want to use actual flowers, kind of like a floral 'base', it makes sense in my brain!

Hello! I've not updated for ages... because I haven't really had anything to update! I have been working on this today so I thought I'd share, we're going to take it away and have a photo taken with it to put on our thank you cards!

Its a bit small, but it's a string of little card flip flops spelling out 'Thank You!'

That's really nice Birdie - did you make them yourself, or did you get stickers etc? Think I may steal that idea for ours too.
