Prices change, that is a market economy.I wonder why it is, that young men are always cautioned against bad girls. Anyone can handle a bad girl. It's the good girls men should be warned against.-David Niven0

The prices of their value stuff have been going up and down like yoyos lately
The shortbread for example, was always 12p, then it went up to £1.29!!! Which I think was an error for a short while, but then it went to 29p, then back down to 13p, now back to 30p, I wish they'd make their minds up!
The fromage frais are another example, I was buying these for a couple of weeks at 20p but they are now 45p!!
I think on a basic level it's to do with how many people are buying the products etc, but I wish they wouldn't fluctuate the prices quite so much!0 -
Still great value at 30p,but when people buy the value items prices go up.0

Been 30p for about 3 weeks in our local - luckily I had stocked up quite well! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

I love Marmite, so much so that I eat it off the spoon - YUMMY
I went into Tesco tonight to replace my stock to find the craziest price hike ever.
I used to pay £4.40 for a 500g jar but tonight it is £5.09
Anybody have any idea why?
Many thanks0 -
