    Hi s23xy

Cost about £10 for registration and a fiver for your weigh in, then its £5 a week (well just under think its £4 something). Your leader will give you a new members talk and explain all the plans to you, Extra easy, green or original. Theres a slimming world thread on the health and beauty thats got loads of advice and ideas, at the beginning of the thread thateres an explanation of each plan. I do extra easy 95% of the time and the one word of advice id say is make sure you eat your 1/3 of your plate of superfree ie veg, salad and fruit, the weeks when i eat enough superfree i lose between 1 1/2lb and 3 1/2 lb, the week when i dont its around 1/2lb to 1lb.

I am at WW just now but struggling with weighing everything. Am thinking of joining slimming world class tonight - will I get everything I need for the diet on the first night in case I read it and can't go on with it and end up back at ww. I'm really struggling just now but sw seems to have much more choic, bigger portions and more recipes. thanks

This is probably a little too late for you, but yes, you'll get everything you need to start slimming with SW. You eat normal, everyday foods, stuff you've probably already got in the cupboards. There's nothing fancy or expensive - it's easy and it really, really works.

    Good luck :)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
