Hi there!
Slimming World is great! I lost so much on it and it was so easy as the quantity of food you could eat was immense as long as it was their free foods (pasta, potatoes, meat etc).
Its about a tenner to join and your first weeks weigh in. I am big, but I ended up losing about 5 stone on 8 months! I missed not being able to mix carbs and protein, but they now have an Extra Easy option which sounds great!!
Good luck with it, and if you like your food you will not go hungry on this diet!!!0 -

Thanks! Thank god for that - I LOVE pasta and the thought of giving it up (even for the dress) wasnt worth thinking about!
5 stone in 8 month!! Thats amazing - well done you. How was that? Did you excercise too?
Ill keep you all updated... eek! xx:heart2: Got Married on 30/4/11 :heart2:

Oh my goodness! On green days you can have as much pasta as you like (as long as you don't eat more than you used to portion wise)!!! You can have spag bol but use quorn mince instead just flavour it with as much free food as possible. I found as much as I didn't like quorn it made the weight literally fall off!!
As for exercise, no I didnt! It's a tricky one, I think its best to do it, but as muscle weighs more you will lose weight quicker in the long run than initially (i lost 7lbs in my first week AND ate loads!)
I am so excited for you, stick to it, measure the healthy extras properly and you will lose weight!!

Well we can support each other then. Not sure how much I want to lose, do you have to set a goal? I have a goal dress size rather than weight... x:heart2: Got Married on 30/4/11 :heart2:

Both me and H2B are starting SW next week too. I lost 4 stone in a year with them 4 years ago, but have put some of it back on, and H2B needs to lose weight so so we will compete each other lol
I found it very easy, as you can eat lots. The biggest problem I will have this time though is giving up sugar in my hot drinks again! I managed last time to substiture sugar for sweetener, and after a few weeks, I couldn't taste any difference. But for the first few weeks, it was a bit yuk, so no looking forward to that, but I am looking forward to not being so dependent on sugar again!
Good luck - try and stay for image therapy as often as you can too. I used to find that really fun, and its a good way to learn new recipes and try new foods0 -
I joined 3 weeks ago, lost 5lb the first week and 3lb last week.
Was meant to go to weigh in this morning, but baby had been up in the night teething and he didn't wake up till 10am! Bang went my 9.15am weigh in lol
I'll just go next week and fingers crossed have lost something again!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0
