I am having a much better week. Hopefully will show on the scales. I know what you mean about being full. It's so odd isnt' it?

slimming world is amazing especially if you get a really motivating consultant she always says that theres two ways to lose weight the scenic route where you still have your night outs and treats regularly or the m4 route straight to goal and still live your life but a little more restrictive watching your snacks a little closer but either way on s/w you will lose weight....

this is the only diet i have ever been on and trust me ive tried them all that you can literally use forever with all the family eating the same food so no cooking different meals and you dont have to set a goal like w/w you can choose to get down to a clothes size or a set weight or just do it a stone at a time and no i dont work for them lol im just relieved to find a plan that lets you live whilst losing weight and our consultant says on average most people can and do lose about a stone in 5 weeks at least obviously depending how much you want it ...

    hi everyone

i joined sw last night so this will be m first week, i did try it a couple of years ago and made really good progress on red and green days but im gonna try the extra easy and see how i go. ive not really got a goal weight in mind but im getting married married in nyc in december and my hen weekend is in october so id like to lose a couple of stones between now and then.

flydragonfly- 5lbs is brilliant i hope i can lose that, but i know what you mean my friend who i go with is the same, in 6 weeks she lost over a stone and a half on the extra easy so im quite jealous LOL !!

i'm getting married in december too! all i did was cut out the rubbish like crisps sweets and bisquits and i came off so now i am trying to find ways of eating other things so i keep losing it this weekend i had cupcakes and chocolate and stayed the same weight ate really strict yesterday and weighed myself today and i am seeing single digits (lbs not stones yet lol)

that soup i said about is this one:

Speed food Soup (syn free on Green and EE)

    1 can mixed bean salad
    1 can green lentils
    2 cans chopped tomatoes
    1 can bake beans
    Handful of split lentils
    2 large leeks
    1 large onion
    4 medium carrots
    2 parsnips
1 each green, red and yellow peppers
    2 vegetable stock cubes
    Salt pepper
    Mixed herbs
Water (enough to cover all ingredients)

Chop all vegetables. Put them and everything else into a large pan, cover with water, bring to boil and simmer until vegetables are soft (about 30 mins). Once cooked, the soup can be left chunky or blended smooth.

This makes about 6 pints of delicious soup but if you don't possess a humungous pan, it might be safer to halve the recipe :)

i blended it and it flew around my room twice but after that it was lovely :)

Hey guys, glad to see some more SW converters, it really is the best diet going!! I've been doing it since may and it's really paid off, almost at target!! Good luck everyone!! And if anyone has any questions just let me know, or pop into the other thread (got too full for me and couldn't keep up with it) but they're all very helpful!!
