Another one here! I just want to lose a stone to get me to 11 stone. Going to weigh in, in a bit. Not had a great week though. I do suffer because I go away with the TA at the weekends and get 24 hour ration packs. They contain 6000 cal! Very condensed energy! So not holding out much hope.

Good to know I am not alone in switching from WW to SW though! YAY!

SW is fab! Lots of choice, very little measuring and grest results. Plan your days in advance though and if your OH is doing it too make sure you are on the same day (we came unstuck sometimes as he'd have a red lunch and I'd have a green one, then we'd struggle for tea!)

  • Oh my goodness! On green days you can have as much pasta as you like (as long as you don't eat more than you used to portion wise)!!! You can have spag bol but use quorn mince instead just flavour it with as much free food as possible. I found as much as I didn't like quorn it made the weight literally fall off!!

As for exercise, no I didnt! It's a tricky one, I think its best to do it, but as muscle weighs more you will lose weight quicker in the long run than initially (i lost 7lbs in my first week AND ate loads!)

I am so excited for you, stick to it, measure the healthy extras properly and you will lose weight!!

    xxx
Hi hun sorry to be so corrective but in actual fact muscle weighs exactly the same as fat! It's a common misconception amongst us dieters that muscle weighs more but it doesn't! I was surprised to find this out too! xx
  • back from slimming world this evening lost half a pound but to be honest i didn't really start properly so today i made a table and wrote everything i was going to have this week and also started the 12 week challenge set my goal to lose a 14lbs!

if i lost 14lb i would be over the move thats 1.5 lbs a week! crazy!

so have now sat down to eat shepards pie which bless him, my partner finished off and didn't realise to put the veg with the mince and gravy before putting the mash on top so its more mince with mash on top!
    he tried bless him!
