Give SW a go stressedoutmum. There is much less weighing and measuring to do, and sometimes you can avoid it altogether (it's usually only things like cereal that need measuring) You will get a book which will explain everything, you don't need to buy special foods (you can probably still eat some of your weight watchers stuff! :p) Give it a couple of weeks, it usually takes a little while to settle in to it. :)

Well done everybody on your weight losses!

I rejoined properly tonight.. put 4 pounds over the last 6 weeks (has it been that long?! I meant to miss 3 or 4!) could be worse.

    Food today:
Breakfast: couscous with Activia light yoghurt (Free)
Lunch: Red Thai style chciken breast fillets- tesco (free) salad (lettuce, carrott, red cabbage) (free) melon mix (free) 3x babybel light (A)
    Snack: Hi-fi bar (B)

just deciding what to have for dinner (a bit late, i know) but it's so hot I haven't felt hungry.

Dinner: quick chicken stir-fry (free) Chicken, dark soy sauce + chinese 5 spice. Stir fry veg with light soy sauce. (Free)

Really thirsty now though... all that soy sauce! But it was yum... :)
  • Can anyone give me some syn help for Marks and Spencer fat free yogurt, 200g. In toffee flavour and cherry.

I accidently (!!) had one of each today and am hoping they are not too bad as they have no fat......

    Many Thanks x

Hi! Did everyone have a good weekend? I've been super good since Thursday and have had only 18.5 syns so far. Starting to feel a hankering for a mars bar though... think I'll get some Mars Planets tomorrow. 9 syns for a bag, as opposed to 14 for a standard Mars Bar!

I've made a strawberry mousse for tonight (recipe on SW website in recipe archive 1.5 syns per serving) will have it with some strawberries and some cream (Anchor light squirty cream= 1/2 syn per tbsp, or 1 syn 12.5g- enough to go with strawberries and mousse!) so looking forward to that :p

Also- I'm now addicted to M&S Arbroath Hot Smoked Salmon flakes- 1 syn for whole packet. It is loverly with salad nom nom nom :p

I've got a cat... he's not very keen on walking on a lead :p :rotfl:

I am going to try and make a major effort to walk part of the way home every night (I work 17miles away so to far to walk all the way, but the last 2 miles or so is do-able :) )

oh dear 2lb gain this week but was totally worth it.

Just a few hours ago i was sitting on skeggy seafront eating proper chips and mushy peas. Been away for the weekend, drinking wine, eating doughnuts and eating a massive (and i mean massive) carvery roast diner. Gonna go straight back on it tomorrow though x
