Mrs Heath2b, we all on here know exactly what you mean
I joined slimming world and managed to put 1 and a half pounds ON in my 1st week :rotfl:
However ever since then ive lost every week (touching wood) and hope to carry that trend on.
I think you have to be in the right frame of mind. Ive done countless diets and always given up on them after a few weeks but this one is really easy, lets me eat almost what I was before (with some small adjustments) and also still have treats. But I did have to really want it, and once I was past the half stone mark and I started to notice it in my clothes it spurred me on (along with the compliments I get off people). Ive now lost just over a stone. I still occasionally go off the rails but I tend to contain it to one day, or one weekend, rather than writing off the whole week like I used to. I was always one that thought, 'oh ill start the diet again on Monday'. Im also one of those thats just wants to wake up skinny! Im so impatient :rotfl:
For me its all about planning my meals. If I plan my week and get in the right things then im onto a winner. On this thread we have all been there/are there etc and we can help each other out, I hope that helps? x :grouphug::heart2: Got Married on 30/4/11 :heart2:

I get my blood test results tomorrow morning... I can't wait to get figured out what my problem is so I can get back on with loosing weight. I'm starting to feel terrible with all the bread and pasta I've had to eat to ensure there wasn't a false negative result! Fingers crossed it's not coeliac disease (gluten 'allergy'). Actively hoping I've just got an intolerance so I can have occasional small amounts of bread!
Hi Laura, how did you get on? Ive been thinking of you and wondering how it went x:heart2: Got Married on 30/4/11 :heart2:

i rang suzie my consulant up to see how her scales where going and she told me i wasn't the first person to call up today and tell her that they had lost.
she thinks her scales were out a bit as it was a new set and we have to whole credit card thing come in to place last week so touch wood i see the 11 stone whatever on wednesday, when i see that i will stick to it i think like nothing i never want to see 13 stone or even 12 stone on my scales again.
dont you hate the hot weather i was walking to school today and i kept my cardy on all the way there and back because i hate my arms and i never use to hate them until i started doing the school run0 -

Blood test result came back negative :j So it only means I have an intolerance to something.. just got to get figured out to what. At the moment my list is narrowed down to the usual suspects of bread and pasta, but also citrus fruits and mushrooms.
As of next week I am getting back on the wagon. (unfortunately going away bank holiday weekend as it is our 10 year 'anniversary' so it may get tricky then but really need to get motivated again) At least having a few days being good is better than continuing to eat all this bread and stuff which is making me feel rubbish0 -
