If they do deduct £5 per week. This is suppose to build up into a fund for you. When it reaches £1000.00 and/oryour starting working. Child maintainance bonus or back to work bonus.

I would advise keeping all paperwork. I spent months chasing my tail trying to claim my bonus to no avail. No-one would answer my questions or requests and was passed from pillar to post until I gave up. The money was deducted fortnightly from the childrens father benefit money for years.

I wonder if this is why I never got the money ? A license to steal is what it sounds like to me! Their !!!! dad insisted the money has been paid for years!!! I received a few £12 fortnightly payments. That stopped when I queried my bonus money of £1000 owed!

That was abolished years ago. I remember getting a letter telling me so when I was still on IS and I have been off IS for over 3 years

. If we were to beleive everything we read we would be tripping over starving freezing children or at best children begging at the side of the street all due to child poverty

It's nothing to do with that DUTR. Child Support should be paid. End of.

We know children aren't going to starve or be cold but the fact remains that this is not a 'get out of jail card' for non compliant/non paying NRP's.

As you keep saying it's not illegal for you to refuse contact with your daughter, well neither is it illegal to claim any child support monies that are due to you.

DUTR - no, my children are not starving or freezing, or beggin gout at the side of the street. However, the older two, their father has not paid child support in a year now. To ensure that their extra needs have been met - ie school trips, open day visits to university, driving lessons etc., myself and my partner are the ones who have actually gone without certain things. I'm awaiting a dental appointment for a shattered tooth that has had a root canal - do I pay the £300 to the dentist or ensure my son gets the transportation that he needs to go to Open days at uni in order that he makes the right choice for him? Do I ensure that his last year his school - he is included with leavers hoodies, yearbooks, prom tickets etc., or do I make sure that I go out and buy a new outfit for work that I need? Personally - my kids come first, so by their dad not providing the child support for the youngest one that is still eligible and the older one that has arrears due up until September last year, I am actually the one going without, not my children.

So in our household, we dont' have starving or freezing children, but not to say that the support from their father is not required. Better take that foot out of your mouth :)

Ladies, I'm on your side here, what I mean is that today is when the support is required, not for the establishment to save it up for the PWC and pay them later, later maybe too late :A

    1. unless, if by magic the agency has changed it's approach to female nrp's, then i doubt it.

    2. probably, but i'm not gonna hunt them down just to prove a point.

lastly. i would also state that i also know a couple of female nrp's who are hounded the same as the rest of us. it's just the attitude of the "wimmin" on the front line csa.

So you can't actually back up anything you've said.... what a surprise.

I had a look through all the reports and figures and no where does it separate male and female NRP's....
Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind.
They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.

in their infinite wisdom, the csa took a lot of useful info off their site when they re-did it a year or so ago.

there used to be all the employee guides and a lot of other info on there, but now alas, it has all disappeared.

something to do with them not liking their rules and regs quoted back at them. ;)
NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.
