    Well, i phoned today and spoke to Mark Cottrell! He was very apologetic but said he was trying to catch up with all of the back orders. Aparently he has got up to orders placed on or near 20th April. He advised that my order (placed on the 25th April) is actually the next one to be dispached and it would be in the post, 1st class tomorrow and i should recieve it on Thursday! The cynic in me thinks "oh yeah!" but we will see. It's his last chance as far as i am concerned and if it doesn't arrive, he will incurr all the interest charges i have incurred from my credit card on top of a full refund. I guess those people who ordered their units after my date will still be waiting for a little while. Reading between the lines, i think he has a cash flow problem and is using pre-paid orders to buy them with & hoping good natured people are prepared to wait.
    I'll let you all know if it actually turns up when he says it will......

    Had my first round today with it, really enjoyed it, played well, 35 Stapleford, really helped.
    100% keeping it, hope you get your's soon and have the day I had.

  • I ordered an SG 2.5 on the 21st May. I know it's only a couple of weeks ago or so and a number of you have been waiting for the new SGXs', however, there was no suggestion (other than a five - seven day delivery time) of any problems/delays with it's delivery.
    Despite several phonecalls, messages left to a voice mail and e-mails, there has been no response. I finally managed to speak to someone who asured me of it's delivery within the next 48hrs....Guess what!...no delivery. Just like a previous poster, I too, have given an ultimatum, I await with baited breath!

    Well, eventually lost it with Mark who made excuses not to speak to me as the delivery he waqs expecting never arrived. So after a few choice words, he refunded my money and i ordered one from complete golfer. Very helpfull.. He assured me he had them in staock, free next day delivery. I phoned at 16.15 and payed over the phone. As the courier had not arrived at that point (usually cut off time for next day is 15.00), he said i was in luck and he would do his best to get one out the same evening. Sure enough, new SGX arrived 10.15 next day with a txt @ 08.00 telling me the estimated delivery time of between 10.00 - 10.30!! I would urge you all to get refunded and go to them. You could be out this weekend with your SGX's. Their price is £329 delivered and for the extra £17, it's worth the money just to get this nightmare over and actually own one.
    BTW, i've had 3 rounds now with mine and dropped 3 shots off my average score. Now that's gota be worth it.

    Been keeping an eye on all the posts with regard to these cowboys!
    Do we know how many people have actually recieved SGX units? I ordered mine early April and as, with everyone else, they were quick to withdraw funds from the account but not so quick to deliver. As of today still no unit! I have sent several messages and only one reply which stated the unit would be sent out to me this week. I asked for confirmation and tracking number earlier in the week and again today but am not holding my breath. I wish to call him today and hear his explanation myself and ask for a refund - what numbers does anyone have - Painswick, is he just a member? Mobile would be good.
    Enough is Enough!!!

    Sadly I have a similar tale of woe to tell. Ordered SGX on 30th April with promised delivery of 5 days. Never came, chased several times and then cancelled. Then told item on the way but insisted I no longer wanted it as I had already gone to Amazon who fulfilled the order within 2 Days!!

    Told I could have a refund on 7th May. Still waiting, 7 weeks after initial order so I will be reporting to CC Company.

    DO NOT USE THESE UNLESS YOU WANT NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ZERO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. :mad::mad:

    They are clearly geared up to provide poor service as you cannot get them by phone.

    Pre ordered a Skycaddie SGX back in march, money taken straight away. Many promises that it would be shipped today, Nothing!!

    After being lied to many times, cancelled order and asked for refund, Ignored or lied to.

    Got on to credit card company, issue resolved within 10 days.

    At best a very suspicious company, have no dealings with these people.
