Hi there, I have an issue with an online internet site called tomorrowsgolfer.co.uk

Don't know if anyone is into golf here but wondered if you knew how to complain to a site that doesn't seem to communicate. I've ordered a skycaddie sg5 from tomorrowsgolfer.co.uk on the 12/02 on the promise it was in stock and would be dispatched on mon 15th on nxt day delivery. I ordered fri morning 12/2 at 7AM and she replied to an email 3 hours after I ordered saying they were in stock. Anyway, No gps unit arrived so rang up, a woman called Emma Sage answered, appologised and said they had a big demand for them over the weekend and they were getting more on wed so I would get it thurs. Anyway thurs came no GPS unit, no longer answering call's so emailed to cancel order. Then next day get a confirmation email saying dispatched and it was advertised next day delivery and I still don't have it 4 day's later. I am beggining to wonder if it has been dispatched.

My main concern now is that after doing more research it seems the site is spammed everywhere and has over 805,000 searches via google but when you search the net there's only 1 customers with a review which is don't buy from them on McAfee siteadvisor LOL.

Seem's to me it's a very cleverly set up site and seem's so genuine I think it may just be a very poorly run company.

Any help on how to contact someone regarding how to get help as I don't want others to get caught out.

What's also worrying is that while I have been waiting they have added an auction site on there website and have a skycaddie sg5 on the auctions for a buy it now price. How can they when they don't have them?

Would this be classed as fraud??

Tomorrowsgolfer.co.uk have put this so called press release link out saying the skycaddie sgx was released on the 1st of feb 2010 in Florida and that they are taking pre-orders on their site. This, as far as I am aware is false. It hasn't been launched yet and If you go to a respected site like golfmagic.com it isn't going to be released till april at the earliest.

    Hi Mark
I hope you are wrong about thse people, I have pre-ordered the SGX, not expecting anything till Mid April, will have to see.
If you paid on CC I would contact the CC company, they will pull the payment back, if I get any problems that's the first thing I will do

  • Hi Mark
How is it going with your order from Tomorrowsgolfer.com , have you got your skycaddie? . I have ordered a watch the 1st of marts, and the money was charged two days later from my Visa, but still now watch. They don't reply my emails, and on the phone they just tell me, I will have the trackingnumber the day after, but I haven't got that either. What Have You done ??
  • Hi,

I too have ordered a sky caddie SGX and I am very concerned about the validity of this site / company.

What do you recommend? I think I am going to try and cancel my order and get my CC company to reclaim the money.

    Alistair.
  • Hello,

Since my last post I have just spoken to Tomorrow's Golfer and they were nothing but helpful. I was going to cancel my order of my SGX but I have decided to leave it with them on the back of the service I received.

Perhaps the other posters on this forum have merely had a one off bad experience. I have no reason to doubt Tomorrow's Golfer.

I have done a bit of digging of my own and can't find anything untoward, if they are not on the level they have alot to lose, they have a thriving estate agent's buisiness in the next village among other things.
Looking forward to recieving mine, keep each other posted!
    Regards

  • Looking at Skycolf.com Tomorrowsgolfer seem to be a genuine stockist.

  • I ordered an SG5 Sky caddie from tomorrows golfer on 21/03/09 it was marked as awaiting shipment and the money debited from my credit card straight away. I have since not received the goods and have just to my dismay after a trawl on the internet found the above complaints about this company. I have tried phoning several times but all I get is the answerphone and have not had any answer to my email. I have since phoned my credit card company but thy cant do anything for 30 days, which is no good to me as I have a tournament coming up next week. Does anyone have an alternative number or company address or the the name of the estates agents that these people also own?

reviews here (similar story to those that have been posted so far):

the second link may be of interest to you. in that forum, the poster has said that he has contacted skygolf (the makers of skycaddie) and they have been going out of their way to help him and are very embarrassed by the activities of this company.

perhaps you could also contact them? it might not necessarily help you, but it might help to put pressure on them to get things sorted out.
