They take percentage of the ticket and it's not about the money, like I said there were lots of very clear signs and as it was also parking for our customers barriers were not really an option, my main point here is that there are cases where people know exactly what they are doing when they park where they shouldn't and I can't believe people defend their actions, I personaly have no sympathy for someone who gets a parking ticket private or from an official traffic warden where the signs clearly say they do not have the right to park in that place or park ilegaly, however I do sympathise with those who get tickets/clamped where the signage is no existent or misleading.

I'm not having a go at you, but believe me, when you have been clamped or get a ticket from a PPC which you know is wrong you will be on here to ask for help.

That's not really the point, if I park somewhere knowing that I am not supposed to and it is well sign posted then I deserve to be clamped, however if the area is not well signposted or the signs are misleading then yes I will be asking for help but the argument i put forward was for a place very well sign posted and the people who ignored the signs knew exactly what they were doing. I am not defending any parking company here, likewise I am not going to stand up and openly defend people who deliberately park where they shouldn't.

I'm sure you're customers were mighty pleased to get the treatment from the parking company too, had any thought been given to how much potential patronage was being lost?

If you read a previous post you would know that we issued the tickets our selves and then sent off the details to the company to follow up, as it was a trade centre we knew exactly what vehicles belonged to customers and who was just after a free parking space without our permision, so your answer to that question is no we did not upset or loose any customers and it was mostly solicitors after a free parking space because even on their huge saleries they were too tight to pay for a space in the official car park so sorry absolutly no sympathy for these people.

It was specialist trade counter, we would know who should be there because we would be serving them, we sold Janitorial supplies and we only supplied to trade so yes we did know, we're not talking a huge megastore.

More importantly, when might the elderly couple that live at the address the offending car is registered to receive a visit from a pair of Dave Courtney wannabes?

And why is the latest letter entitled FINAL NOTICE yet the "tariff" has not yet reached £120?

Summons ? There will be no summons.

I very small possibility of a Small Claims Form but I have no recollection of this company ever issuing one.
