  • From experience, I can reassure you parking eye do not take anyone to court. They just make meaningless threats.
Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!

  • How's this for inflation - we've just received one for a parking "violation" in Stratford upon Avon, the town of parking hell, for £120.00 broken down as £90.00 + £30.00 administration. (£60.00 if paid within 14 days). Seems a bit dear for less than an hour's parking.

    Thank goodness for recycling bins!!

    It is quite clear.
  • I have recieved one of these Parking Eye notices.

To be honest I would have paid if the fine had been reasonable, say £30, but by the time I got the letter they now want £90....they should have Valet'd the car for that price!!!

Anyway, my worry is my car is a company car, so can I ensure the contact is direct with me?

Yesterday, I went to park my car only to find that the meter wasn't working. I was in a rush, so left the car where it was. Felt OK to do this as there were other cars parked and I didn't notice any meter tickets in windscreens etc. (Didn't know what else to do really - malfunctioning meter, what are you supposed to do?)

Anyway, returned later to find orange and black sticky envelope(thinly masquerading as a possible council ticket?) with PCN inside, asking for £100, reduced to £70 if paid within 7 days.

A couple of locals were nearby and they said that the faulty/broken meter was a familiar scenario with this particular car park and they reckoned that the management company do it on purpose to up their revenue! Closer insection of the meter revealed a sticker telling people not to park if the meter isn't working. Must admit, I never noticed this when I tried to pay originally.

The parkng management company are Premier Parking Solutions. Anyone had any experience of this lot? I assume it's safe to ignore the PCN?

Maz, its completely safe to totally ignore the ticket, like the above advice these tickets are not enforceable!
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
