Thank you, just thought it strange to get 2 seperate invoices for the same car park in Manchster for different dates in January and each time the car was 40 miles away from Manchester but only half mile from their PO Box address

It is probably misreading the plate, I use a supermarket where the ANPR displays your number on a screen as you drive in and it always gets mine wrong, M and N seem to confuse it.
I'd only worry about cloning if you start getting speeding tickets or proper council PCNs.
    Ignore Parking Eye.
  • From experience I can confirm that Parking Eye use pretty dodgy equipment to read number plates. Ignore their joke invoices and subsequent letters from their toothless debt hounds.
Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!
  • received a charge notice from parking eye for parking too long in b&q carpark asking for £ 50 now or £110 if after 13 days ,
i am sure that i have seen this on the tv , should i pay ?

If you get a parking note from anyone other than the police or the council.

Do not pay, Do not pay, Do not pay, These 'fines' are not fines, they are invoices and as such are unenforceable.

Ignore them at all costs and never acknowledge them.

The baords are littered with this advice.

My father parked during the evening at an Aldi and stayed well over the 1hr 30mins , first thing I said to him was did you see any cameras as I know they are known to have parking eye or something similar.

Anyway today a letter came from parking eye. Some people in this thread have said make no communication with them, however the letter was not addressed to my Dad as he is not the registered owner. So is it worth sending the letter template provided on this website to them regarding the owner was not driving the vehicle? Or should we just do nothing?
