Since you are patently scared by bits of paper, unwilling to read the other threads on here or listen to the wisdom of posters on here I suggest you immediately pay the fines.

That way you'll stop fretting, be able to sleep at night and won't need to come on here to tell us that you're still worried to death in case another A4 sheet turns up inside an envelope.

    Pay up, stop worrying....simples.

    Or

You can listen to all the many folk on here and pepipoo.com who say just to ignore them and their begging letters which follow.
Its up to you whether you take Oopsadaisy's "tongue in cheek" reply or all the other posts. I know what I would do.;)

The whole point of my posting was that they had already been told to do exactly what you are telling them to do....but for some reason they are still worried about getting letters.

So my suggestion is somewhat serious...if you are the sort of person who has sleepness nights even when 300 people and the entire internet tell you not to worry, then pay the £50 and stop worrying.

It might not be what you or I would do, but if the person stops worrying it's the best £50 they'll waste.

after reading all of the reviews i am still concerned with ignoring parking eye
i received one over xmas period when shop and car park was rammed stayed over by half an hour on 15th of dec not notified till 6th of jan and payment demanded by 12th
i appealed against this and this was denied as had not retained till receipt didn't think i needed it
in the meantime they sent me out another one for the 29th of dec that came a bit sooner so now i have 2 of them to pay
would you advise to pay the 1st as they are aware i am the driver
its still scary waiting for the demands to come!

As quoted you are giving these people to much thought. They are nobody's who have dreamed up an idea, to try and intimidate people into paying them money for contrived parking contraventions.
I personally have ignored Parking eye, with no comeback.
The other option is do as Oopsadaisy says and pay them! If it makes you less worried and you have £50 to waste.

Before you write the cheque spend an hour surfing, just google Parking Eye!
  • Got my third letter from PE, LOL ignored the first 3 so im doing well. Cant wait for the fourth one which would talk alot of b** about debt collectors etc.

EVERYONE PLZ IGNORE THESE F** they are taking your money, im so glad i read the threads on here as i was very close on writing a letter back to them.

    IGNORE, IGNORE, IGNORE......:D:D:D
  • got my second letter today, the one with the really bad pic on it and dam you can only just make out my number plate lol cant see who is the driver i would advise parking spy to invest some of the scam money into there cams oh also they are giving me longer to pay the reduced rate now aint that nice of them lol, this has turned out to be a lot of fun i still use the car park and i have a big smile on my face when i park up knowing they have no legs to stand on BRING ON THE 3RD LETTER :rotfl:

I've received my Final Notice threatening to instruct the Debt Collection Agency and take me to Court etc.. but i'm not going to give in.
  • Debt Collection Agency? A pathetic attempt to confer official status to an outfit with no more power of legal enforcement than any other member of Joe public. These people are beneath contempt. Watch out for the final, final warning followed a begging letter offering to reduce the 'debt'.
Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!
