i contacted parking eye admitting i was the one who was driving the car :( Will that affect me in any way if i continue not to pay?

It would give them one less hurdle to jump but the rest would still be too high!;)

It is more viable for them to move to the next victim and see if they pay.
  • Posted my letter to the weasels today. I'm actually not fussed if they write back/ decline my appeal because I already have my next letter in my head and I want to have a bit of fun with this!

Copy these in on your letter they do seem to be interested in Parking Spy!

Great stuff thanks. At the rate this forum is going PE could be brought to its knees!

I just hope everyone who receives a notice from them researches them first as I did. Unfortunately, I guess these cowboys exist because most people don't.
  • Id just like to leave a message here thanking everyone for swaying my brother in law into believing me when I said to him, just ignore them. We both went into the Pizza Hut car Park in Weston Super Mare and went into Mcdonalds, not noticing any signs, yet he received a fine 9 days later and I have not, but Im not bothered either way.

We have both just been back up to Pizza Hut to check the signs to find Parking Eye as the company involved and no sign of any authority on it other than BPA, so ignore ignore ignore..... No wonder Pizza Hut has no customers in there restaurant lol, I read somewhere else of a woman parking there, entering there details in the pizza hut computer to prove she was having a meal in there, yet she still got a ticket.....

    They should be shot.......

Well done for ignoring it! As for the BPA they are as much use as a concrete parachute, with no authority at all, they can not even control their own like!
  • I would love to know how Parking Eye will reply to this. On a point of law, they still have signage in car parks threatening potential victims with a 'penalty charge' of £80 . Tut tut Parking Eye, and to think you and you friends going crying when we call you nasty names.
after reading all of the reviews i am still concerned with ignoring parking eye
i received one over xmas period when shop and car park was rammed stayed over by half an hour on 15th of dec not notified till 6th of jan and payment demanded by 12th
i appealed against this and this was denied as had not retained till receipt didn't think i needed it
in the meantime they sent me out another one for the 29th of dec that came a bit sooner so now i have 2 of them to pay
would you advise to pay the 1st as they are aware i am the driver
its still scary waiting for the demands to come!

Why is it scary? Listen, it's a private person sat in a private office in front of a PC pressing buttons to send all their crap out. THEY ARE NOT LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER'S, they are private citizen's the same as you.

If your next door neighbour sent you an invoice for parking in front of their gate would you pay that? No? thought not.

Why pay a scam invoice from Parking Eye? Don't worry, relax, chill and open a nice bottle of wine and then sit reading these forum's for an hour or two and just see how the scam works.

The letter's are designed to frighten and intimidate you, nothing more nothing less. The more desperate of the PPC's are trying to make their scam invoice's even more frightening and intimidating by using ever more quasi legal crap so the unknowing are paying up.

DO NOT PAY. They cannot come and arrest you, they can send no one to your door, they cannot affect your credit rating whatsoever.

In a few month's time when their idle threat's stop coming through your door you will laugh about it and more importantly you will be telling your family and friend's about the scam. Don't worry.

Since you are patently scared by bits of paper, unwilling to read the other threads on here or listen to the wisdom of posters on here I suggest you immediately pay the fines.

That way you'll stop fretting, be able to sleep at night and won't need to come on here to tell us that you're still worried to death in case another A4 sheet turns up inside an envelope.

    Pay up, stop worrying....simples.
