Parking Eye - Nasty tricks

  • Hi Guys

I have just got a letter from parking eye when i visited morrisons on 11 Dec 2010, in the letter it states "photographic evidence show that the vehicle entering morrisons Stratford car park at 15:13:20 and depaerting 16:05:25. Based on the time spent in the car park, either insufficient parking time was paid or maximum stay limit was exceeded, therefore breaking the terms and condition of the car park"

I didnt have a fine ticket stuck on my window (like u normally get from council) when i got back from morission and i had a valid blue disabled badge displayed from the time i left. As this is a private company how can they tell i didnt display a valid ticket or exceeded the time, when their letter says i was there for around 45 minutes. So reading the comments on this forum im planning on ignoring this latter but was concenred if they can come and clamp my vehicle or anything like that?

    Any feedback would be handy.

    Thanks

Good for you. Parking Eye are a complete and utter joke. I have been successfully ignoring them for years having collected a drawer full of their stupid paperwork.

  • got 3 begging letters of parking cry. they had photographic evidence, cctv everything, 13th december bailiffs were coming round to take....well i dont own anything so they'd av strugglied if they'd come round haha

but to the point, just ignore them, i was a bit scared when they were harressing me with oooo court and oooo monkeys with baliff name tags. but they dont materialize, just please ignore! use the notices as scrap paper! if they take you to court i'll come and errr solicitor thingy for you! because its just not going to happen! i saved myself £120 by listening to the voice of reason on this site! i am now telling you DO NOT COUGH UP YOUR HARD EARNED CASH! those theiving lancastrians dont deserve your hard earned money especially when its costing so much jsut to drive to the car parks.

i now feel im giving a little back, once you've ignored parking cry and they've given up haressing you, jsut stick a little post on here jsut to give those that are in the same position u were a little confidence in their time of need

Did they use the word "bailiffs" or "door step collectors" If they used bailiffs a nice email to these people would add to their woes! :D

I have just recieved a parking eye ticket giving me til weds to pay 50 then goes upto 80/110 after, we are in the process of buying our first house and I really dont want this to affect it. If i dont pay.
I was picking up my step son from his mothers flat to bring him home.
Should I just ignore this or pay I'm panicking a bit due to the whole first mortgage and dealing with banks and things, I have to pull into the car park to get to her flat.
    Hope someone can reassure me.
