Welcome to the ignore all PPC's forum.
I have managed to trigger a second round of PE scam mail for driving THROUGH one of their managed car parks and out immediately the other end, but because I later went back through their managed car park, these people have ASSUMED I spent all the time in the car park... !
They clearly do not know that to assume makes an A55 out of U and ME - Take me to court then if you are confident PE, See Ya there... or just stop sending junk mail to me as it is getting a tad boring now, lets see some action eh ?ORIGINAL MORTGAGE AMOUNT £106,454.00 (Started Sept 2007)
NOV 2021 O/S AMOUNT £1,694.41 OUR DEBT REDUCED BY £104,759.59 by std regular, over-payments & off-setting.
BofE +0.19% Tracker Repayment Offset Mortgage Discounted Sept 07-10 then increased to BofE +0.62% until 20270 -
I recentely visited a friend in halls, which have no parking, there was a sainsburys car park offering parking from 6pm to 8am for £1.20, and they'd give me £1.60 back if I spent a fiver in store
I mean that was a bargain, they were effectively paying me to park there, assuming I wanted to buy something. I then got lazy and started paying extra on my ticket to get a lay in
Wish I'd read more on the parking eye though, I've skimmed through it months ago but wasn't confident. There's an Aldi right next to her halls as well, advertising 1.5 hours max stay etc. Should have just left it there for days on end however I was quite adamant parking in sainsburys and moving it to Aldi for an hour in morning before heading back to mine
Today is what I'm thinking could be interesting. I'm back home for christmas and working for Domino's.
Normally we park on private land between deliveries opposite the shop (not owned by domino's but no restrictions) otherwise theres parking on sides of road free for so long. However last night someone got murdered so this morning we found the street all cordoned off, and were told to park in co-op car park.
Think this one was parking eye as well, if not something similar, free parking, max stay 3 hours, no return in 2 or something like that.
Obviously delivery pizza I was in and out of the car park every 20-30 minutes. So would that qualify me for a few letters? Despite stopping parking there about 2.5 hours after I started, as this is when they opened up the main street0 -

Ignore any letters and invoices, and make sure your Domino colleages do likewise.0 -
I've just received an Parking Eye 'fine' for a car park where the machine wasn't working, hasn't worked for months and has since been removed!
My only worry is the car in question was a courtesy car from a Main Dealer's Accident Repair Centre, they are getting a little shirty with me as they are receiving all the letters. I have called them up and told them i am dealing with the situation and to ignore all correspondence but i am a little concerned they will pay the bill to get rid of the letters then try to claim back from me.
I have composed a letter to Parking Eye stating that all future correspondence must be sent directly to me as i was in charge of the vehicle at this time, and any correspondence sent to the Dealer would be viewed as harrassment. I also mentioned that the machine was out of order and they can pee up against the wind for their £80! (not worded in those precise terms...)
Are they within their rights to keep pursuing the dealer? I will be very miffed if i end up paying for this!0 -
Put it in writing to the dealer so he cannot just cough up and charge you. Explain it quite clearly so no error.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

...but make sure that you do not disclose who was driving in your letter to the dealer. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
May I just remind fellow MSE's just how important it is to recycle all junk paper that arrives through the letterbox !
Oops, I have quite deliberately forgotten to pay PE - never mind, I'm sure they will send me another reminder that I can ignore and recycle. I will be filling up a complete recycle box a month soon.... I have cost them two attempts of obtaining the RK details from DVLA - ah shame !!ORIGINAL MORTGAGE AMOUNT £106,454.00 (Started Sept 2007)

The last time Parking Eye were in court, they were truly stuffed. Ignore their silly begging letters with threats of legal action. Post again if you need reassurance and please tell everybody to ignore Parking Eye begging letters.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0
