Parking Eye - Nasty tricks

Parking Cry only send begging letters to pay, they never do court as like all PPCs they would lose, they are just whining cry babies who throw their toys out of the cot if you ignore them, so they get little bullies trying to wear you down, like all bullies if you stand up to them they will cave in, the way to stand up to them is to ignore them, they will go away and try to find another mug to try and extort money out of.

He is not a traffic warden. He is a minimum wage goon/numpty/chimp [delete as appropriate] who wears a hi vis jacket and a silly hat that make him feel important.

Just read this thread and the news report about the guy who took Parking Eye to court and they lost. Wheyyy.

I was interested to read how PE had been supported in their case by the BPA for whom they are an "approved" operator. Lots of whinging comments from various firms on the parking side about how they are operating legitimately, as, they say, the courts have found that the notices at a private car park represent a legit contract with the driver entering the car park that they accept their terms.

Out of interest, are there any court cases which have been found in favour of a private parking co in this way and secondly when do the government's proposed changes take effect?

There are a few cases where they won by default because no defence was entered, or people lied in court, most of the judgements were from people who have moved address, failed to update their records and the PPC had the letters back, and this was a good way for them to enter the small claims as it would be likely no defence would be entered since the defendant didn't know anything about it. I have seen 1 of those on here getting the judgement overturned with the help of people here and on pepipoo.com.

And by the way, the changes are on clamper scum, not the PPC cowboys as far as I am aware.

lovely, cheered my christmas right up, got this horrible little feeling deep down in my stomache that im still gonna get taken to court, but hey ho till tht day i'll enjoy ignoring them, i'll keep you posted and see how many letters i get

You stand more chance of seeing Santa than Parking Eye taking you to court. I can promise you they chicken out after a few silly letters. Hold you nerve and when you are confident that you can say so, tell everyone about begging letters from Parking Eye.

I only had 3 basic "Parking Cry" letters, nothing since the FINAL DEMAND back in July, Keep Ignoring !

Next time we all go out, how about driving in and then out of our local private car park's and then do the same on our return, (trying to trigger the NO RETURN rule, LOL ! ) I wonder how many scam letters we could collect...
