Parking Eye - Nasty tricks

As they won't do that you can have a night out on the town courtesy of TPS. Cheers.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Really glad i did a search on google for Parking Eye. I recieved a charge last week from them. I have appealed the charge on the basis that i was stuck in a que of traffic for at least 10 mins on entering the car park and was also stuck in the car park for 15 mins before i could leave. How am i supposed to account for that? I can't simply pick my car up and place it outside the car park. All they do is take a photo of you entering and leaving the car park. My appeal is all truthful but i thought i would be better paying the fine within 14 days if they do not accept it. Not now though they can whistle for it. Thanks everyone.0

There is no appeals process, as you've discovered.
And why would there be? You don't 'appeal' to BT or British Gas.0 -
I'm even considering printing out flyers and putting them under the wipers of all cars parked in those area's :A
You could even take a leaf out the PPC's book and print at the bottom of the leaflet "it is an offence for unauthorised persons the remove this notice". That's what some of them do on their tickets! What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
How can they claim my wife has caused the retail park financial loss by overstaying 37 mins when she was in the park spending money with their retailers!!! It's completely ludicrous & I will fight this all the way if I have to.
That's it in a nutshell, they have no damned right to demand payment from someone shopping in the retail park, if you want to spend 10 minutes or 10 hours there its got sod all to do with them !
It will never get to court as the ticket is not enforceable, but keep the receipts and all letters sent to you just in case in the highly unlikely event they do take you, though you've got more chance of winning the euro lottery last night, it could be youExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
This is an old thread, with old advice
