    1. Did you not bother to read the post immediately before yours? Specifically where it requests that no new posts be added to this long out of date thread?

    2. You have been given advice in the thread that you duplicated the post into - here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4131445. Please stick to one thread, hopping around the place makes it difficult to track updates.
    My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

    I am new to this forum but my question is about the new legislations coming into force from 1st october 2012 called DTF.

    I have got a parkingeye ticket today for staying in car park for 3 hour and 25 minutes where they allowed to have 3 hour free car parking. i got 85 pound charge.

    I can see from threads i can ignore this ticket basic that i am not the drivr and also not liable to decalre the drivers name but from 1st october 2012 rules are coming into force which allow them to ask R/K to declare the drivers name. How it will affect me? I am concerned about this. Any help will be appriciated?

    I am worried as i don't any court letters into my home and also affect my credit rating or bankruft. Please help.

    The R/K Liability does not come into force untill 1st Oct. As your ticket was issued before that date you are safe to IGNORE.

    You wont get any court letters, you will just get fake solicitor letters

    Also cant affect your credit rating in anyway
    For everthing else there's mastercard.
    For clampers there's Barclaycard.
