After reading this forum, I have only just found out that this company cannot enforce action with regard parking charges. I have already been in correspondence with them regarding a fine...INVOICE.... that they are chasing payment for unless I supply till receipts which I no longer have. As I have already responded to them shall I now ignore further letters or does it make a difference now I have acknowledged them?0

Easy. As easy as ignoring a fake PCN or a phishing email (same sort of scam).
Please, oh please newbies, do not reply here.
Please post on the CURRENT forum for further advice - but read some threads first as your questions will have been asked and answered already:

Click there and read about it, look at ANY thread under the 'sticky' threads.
Then reply or start a new thread there, NOT HERE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Welcome to MSE. Please just read the current parking forum, not a thread that's a hundred years old.
Current forum:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=163
And post a new thread there if you need to. There's a blue 'new thread' button.

I received a ticket today saying i had spent 1hr 41 mins in their car park and the maximum allowed time was 1hr 30 mins...
They said i had to pay £70 (reduced to £40 if paid within the first 2 weeks)...
I emptied my green wheelie bin upside down in my back garden and found the 12 pieces of my receipt that i had torn up...
I sellotaped them back together and went to Aldi's ready for causing a scene... There was no need, the manager said no problem and took a copy of both the PE invoice and Aldi receipt and said it will be cancelled tomorrow...
I spent £88 in their store and it could be seen i was a genuine customer and not someone abusing the car park...
Aldi employ them to monitor their car park, so Aldi can instruct them to cancel their ticket!0 -
