charlie_ma wrote: »I am concerned having read the threads advising not to reply i did respond to parking eye. Back in October i was shopping at mothercare and visited pizza hut in bristol. At the time i was heavily pregnant and during my visit felt unwell whichis why i stopped a bit longer to rest before leaving. A month later i received a letter from parking eye stating i had parked over max of 3 hrs. I initially paniced apologised and tried to explain my situation also providing a receipt from pizza hut. In the meantime we returned to th park 4 weeks later and it was then we noted the signs actually state 4 hrs max stay and the duration of our previous visit was 3 hrs 51 mins. I replied again to them attaching photographic evidence thinking this would be the end. They sent another letter about a month ago that my appeal was unsuccessful. I have writtn back appealing as i have not violated parking rules. Popla have sent me evidence from them to hear this case this month, they attach photo dated last week which show 3 hrs max stay. I know they r trying to con me but worried how far they will go and what to do next. With a young baby i dont have this money and even if i did would not pay based on principle. Any advise?
Have you read the thread immediately before yours #1170? You need to start a new thread. One thread per case otherwise confusion as to what advice is addressed to who can arise ........ and could lead to costly errors.
So just copy and paste into a new thread of your own please. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hello,
I received a parking invoice today from 'Parking Eye' I didn't actually park within the car park just drove to the top of the multi-storey to make a phone call.. a costly one at that. What should I do any advice would be extremely appreciated.
I would like to reply but would this then make me liable to pay due to acknowledging the invoice?0 -

Why not. You have ignored everyone else on here telling others to start a new thread.0 -
Just a suggestion - is it possible to get this thread closed/locked?I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0

Thanks for all the comments re this company - I am going to follow the advice and ignore anymore letters. It won't be easy cos I am one of the world's worst for worrying but I too am going to contact The Range store and not only state that if something is not done I will no longer be interested in any of their branches to shop and also be passing this advice onto friends, neighbours and family. Why should customers be victimised for spending money in their and any other stores where this company operates.:beer:0
