Hi, can anyone tell me when the interest will be paid on the vantage account? Nothing in today0

I opened a Lloyds Vantage account today but forget to ask by what time they have to receive a payment today (via Faster Payments) for it to count as having being received 'today' rather than tomorrow or next Tuesday.. does anyone know?
The LloydsTSB advisor showed no suprise that I just wanted to open a Vantage account so I guess that lots of others have! He did say that some have it with a Premier current account as the monthly interest offsets the fee though I chose the free account as I don't currently need the additional features..
All in all, a much better experience then when I tried to open a Lloyds account about 20 years ago - then I was told I had to book an appointment in advance and be referred by an existing customer.. oddly I never opened the account then!

They seem to roll over to the next day about 11pm exept on Sundays when it's 3pm0

You need to apply after logging in to internet banking.
You then get a short form application.
You are looking at the application for new customers.

doesn't let me open classic or classic with vantage account online, says I need to visit branch0

I've tried to update my second account and I get the following message:
Sorry we are unable to progress with your request
139144 - Account Upgrade : Your account already provides you with the very best benefits and savings available from Lloyds TSB on a range of banking and other services.
Click on any of the left hand menus to continue.
Does anyone else get this error message? When I tried to update my first current account I was receiving this message and their telephone banking people made out it was a temporary glitch which they had become aware of that week and didn't know why it was affecting some accounts. That was in July and I'm still getting the same message!:mad:
