    What weather????

This sort of weather (Met Office flash warning)

Heavy and persistent rain will spread northwards across parts of southern England, giving totals of 20 to 35 mm, falling on already saturated ground.
The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the latest Environment Agency, Floodline, and Flood Warnings in force and refer to the Highways Agency for further advice on traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads.

Well my shiny, scrubbed living room has been invaded by Dh and tinies and now looks as bad as it did before I started, although not as dirty!

Still can't work out how I'm supposed to get through everything in a normal working week but was talking to a lady who owns a cleaning company and she said over 70% of her clients are in education in some way!!! (Sorry for sounding moany)

  • Mudders - welcome back

Just done HHI - amazing what you can achieve when you are in a hurry [wanted to do it before DD came back] Holiday On Ice was a huge hit with DD, she was very impressed with it, seems like it was quite a spectacular show

Dorastar - I was only working part time up until last week [now not working at all until new job starts] and I still can't get it all done!! God only knows how those of you in full time work get any stars

I hope it all goes well sweetheart. What is Twilight training? Is it learning how to help kids scarred by reading about/watching vampires?

    ..
:rotfl:No we have a long training session after school to make up for time that the head decided to use for making the christmas holiday a day longer (we worked half an inset day instead of a full one)

Well all the kids are supposed to be in bed (I have an extra 2) but I can hear a lot of movement upstairs. We've made them a bed used the seat cushions from the settee so DH and I will have to sit on the floor.

benw - sending vibes to your Mum. Big hugs xx

Mumof2 - What an awkward situation. Hope DH can have words xx

Well, during my hunt for the car document and my driving licence I sorted out 3 HUGE piles of paperwork. Got an even bigger bag of shredding to do now!

Will really try and clean the bathroom window tomorrow so I can get my Thursday star. OH planning on going car boot tomorrow so will try and get stuff done when he's out.

dora - I know what you mean. A day of OH & BIL at home and the living room and kitchen are a tip!

Interestingly, because I have needed to keep busy today to keep my mind off things, I have actually taken all the trashy rubbish out of the study :j. I managed to discover there is a floor in the room , with a carpet on it  and have actually hoovered the bits I can see (there were no bits to be seen before) :o

Now all I need to do is put away the stuff I need/want to keep.

I have 100s of books. Even my DH commented on the number of books. I think I might just have a problem - do they do a Bookaholics Anonymous? I cant go past a bookshop without looking and buying something - and then i discovered amazon

I'm now working on pretty much as one in one out policy.

Hex is trying to part with the occasional book but we haven't had a progress report recently. If she does, she may need therapy :p:p
