Dinner eaten, >>> ham salad, followed by grapes, don't normally buy grapes at this time of year, as they are so expensive in my view, but given in today, at the expense of tomorrows roast, we are having jacket spuds instead and more grapes!!!

Froddington big hugs for you and your shadow
Jo - so glad your mum is home safe
Mum of 2 - if she doesnt come over to you then I would go and speak to her, def neglect in my opinion. I had the same at my 5 year olds party. Someone left their child and didn't even tell me, I had no contact number or anything. :mad:Couldn't believe someone had done it as I would not do it myself, my son had an accident at the party and we had to fill in an accident form, fortunately nothing more but if it had been her and we had had to go to hospital I would have been in a real pickle, some people are so selfish.
sexy congratulations, hold your tongue until you have your reference and then def tell her what you think of her;)

Can I offer a different point of view re this young 7 year old girl who is often hungry and you were told to leave outside the house in Feburary in the cold......inform social services re your concerns.

Just had my sis on the phone most upset asking if I will have Tabitha one day this week so sis can get some sleep, shes had about 9 hours this week apparently.. she has been looking for a childminder to take madam one afternoon a week but the only she likes can't have her for a few weeks as she has her 'quota' at the moment. So I said how about, until the CM can take over I have her one afternoon a week... so she cried on me some more.. so that is what we are doing..
Little monkey will probably wear me out entirely especially as I have zero energy at the moment anyway so OH is on Monday night dinner duty and I get to sleep.
I couldn't really say no when my sis is sobbing on the phone and I always said I would have her whenever she needed a break.
So, I now have to get Tabstick to stop screaming when out shopping.. she hates it apparently.. but I don't care!
I get to be mean to other peoples children!! YAY!! lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Although G & A (aka happy couple) haven't asked for this I wondered if I could do this? Seems 'nicer' than a cheque IYSWIM. Would love your thoughts...
That sounds like a lovely idea to me and much more personal than money. Is there a gift that would be particularly suitable for the occasion?
If a lot of guests are happy to do the same, your friends could have a wedding list with a difference, to ensure that not everyone chooses the same.0 -

I was wondering this too!

S'me, :hello:
I'm still here, just turned into a bit of lurker this week. I'm feeling totally overwhelmed again and I've got some ideas as to why.
Anyway, I've got a little catching up to do tomorrow - like cleaning the bathroom and vacuuming throughout. The one star I've earned will have to be it. I can see the changes in the house, but it's really bl***y difficult at the moment. Just keeping going is becoming a struggle.
I'm not really after any sympathy, so no hugs please! Just having a whinge really. And visiting someone who is particularly toxic this week hasn't helped. Think she's an energy vampire as I'm so drained after an hour or so in her presence. Will definitely have to reassess the way things are done, but it's very complicated....
But, I'd be really grateful if you could spare some positive vibes for my mum who gets her test results on Monday - they've asked her to go to the hospital for 9.30 and to prepare to be there all day. She's prepared herself to be told she has cancer...:(
I'm trying to keep a positive view of it....but....
I'm off, wine and a film (I think we're watching Angels and Demons tonight...OH's choice!).
Take care all
D
