Hope all are ok. Not a great day here. DH has been moaning all day about being bored etc...not what I need at the moment
He's just fed up with life at the moment, has more than a touch of the BD but I will not have him taking it out on me!
Think we have made up now, lots going on for us at the moment and he is still looking for a new job but there's not much around so there's a lot of stress around.
On a positive note the flat is ready for the week ahead, I've cooked a piece of gammon for sandwiches etc and we think that by June/July we may be able to buy a small house. Possibly.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

cyclingyorkie HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY TO YOUR DS:beer::beer::beer: hope he isnt too hungover tomorrow!
holly wow that saved you spending for a little while - what is it with pairing socks that you all hate - it doesnt bother me but then there is only mine and they are all bright and different so its quite easy
hex - oh honey I wish we could all arrive and help you - what a shame - get the wee rascals to help - phone DH and SS to come back early - only do what you have to do - do you have sleeping bags that they could use tonight? you will have to count it as your spring cleaning (((hugs))) ETA i see you have progressed - and well done with the 16 books - will that make a difference or is it just a drop in the ocean?:p:rotfl:
greenbee thank you - I am reasonably computer literate but felt I needed to use it more - the only modules I have left are internet emails and an all over questionnaire i think. I really wanted a certificate to prove to myself (and everyone else i suppose too) that i am not thick! It is of no benefit to me as I will never be able to work and I have passed the hardest parts - the questionaire part would probably be quite difficult now as its been a long time since i did some of the modules - if i dont do it i could declutter some more paper. I will decide this week.
Glamazon - get some of the dye catcher sheets and bung the stained stuff in with them - they have lifted dye ffrom towells and things for me - made by Dylon red box - or I have had them from poundland - cant remember the brand but worked just the same -I usually bung 2 in when i am washing whatever it is that leaks dye.
MrsChaos - enjoy your new toy - will it do homemade bread as well?
Mumof2 well done for giving her the chance and hopefully it wont happen again but if it does you know who to phone - but i would be watchful of the situation - she may need a wake up call like Triker said - sounds like a hard working day - soothing baths required - and the hens seem to have settled well.
piggers - ooooooooooh that sounds sore - hope you dont lose the nail (((hugs))) well done with all your work today you certainly are on a roll.:D
greenbee hope you get the heating sorted out soon - its still tooooooo cold to be without it.
mummyyof5 hope you havent overdone it today -is your back better - guess I will have to take you off the sick list! *good day* vibes for DS - yes unfortunately some firms see the work experience as just skivvy jobs - hope this one is different.
helen jelly dont want to dash your hopes but I think the CRB checks take about 6 weeks sometimes!
ceebeeby :rotfl:at the cookies - I think they may just manage to eat them themselves !!!!
rach sorry to see that the BD has bitten DH - hope it heals soon -the job market is a depressing situation just now - WTG re the possible house purchase - remember that most building societies will want 6 months pay slips for a mortgage so bear that in mind if he is thinking of changing jobs xx
ok thats me caught up - off to the new thread and to check out Dusty's too
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
Live each day as if its your last
