Oi!!!!!! MrsChaos - get your bum in gear and get moving *KICK* - you have to be in bed before midnight!!! Are you still here - SHooooooo!!!!

Thanks for that, toots. Since asking for [STRIKE]gentle encouragement[/STRIKE] a kick up the backside I swept/mopped/hoovered all visible floors, made lunch for DS2, sorted washing and put WM on, emptied DW, provided taxi service for DS1, cleaned bath/sink/loo and S&S kitchen. I've also been out with DS2 - am now a proud owner of a food slicer, so I can slice roasts a bit more economically and stop buying supermarket ham, as I'll be roasting my own.
Tea won't be a big job, as the joint is in the SC and all veg will go in the pressure cooker. Just got gravy, mash and stuffing to do. I'm cheating with bought yorkshire puds, as mine never fail to disappoint. School work next, while I'm decluttering a cuppa and waiting for the joint to be done.

Feeling much better again today thankfully - I think my brain has readjusted itself now my drugs are level again! We never got a proper apology from the little girl's mum, DH didn't go over and I was really fed up. So I went over. As soon as I said it was about yesterday afternoon she was really apologetic 'I'm so so sorry'. Apparently the 14 year old got a real rollocking. I told her the kids missed the party and were upset and also that it had happened a week ago too when I caught her DS going past here after dropping off his sister AND A FRIEND. I told him it wasn't convenient for them to come here - he scowled, glared and took them back. So it wasn't the first time.

Anyhow, she said she's the adult and she must take responsibility and can't leave a 14 year old to look after his sister when he just goes off at a whim. She has assured me it won't happen again - if she's going out she will come and get her daughter.

So let's hope it's all resolved now. We chatted after and I was nice the whole time.

Had a busy time helping DH shift rubble onto a trailer so we can clear some of our back garden (don't ask ) - only another 2 trailers and it should be clear .... until the next time we have more concrete to dig up (which we do).

Chooks are wandering around the back garden whilst DH is out there. They love being out and about and Betsy is still supplying eggs. I cleaned them out earlier so it'll be all nice and cosy for them when they go to bed tonight.

Doing bangers and mash for tea, yum, nice comfort food!

    Enjoy your evenings all!

Mumof2.. hopefully you have a new friend then!

I have a wound.. I trapped my middle finger in the DW lock right at the top of the nail and it has poked straight through by the look of it.. it has take 15 minutes to stop it bleeding profusely.. but it definitely doesn't look good!!

Back room is now clean and tidyish.. still very full but sensibly stacked so it isn't spread everywhere and all the bunny hay vacuumed so it looks habitable..

Off to throw junk food in the oven as I am starved and too tired to do anything proper.. OH doing lasagne and chips tomorrow according to DD2.

No, we'll never be friends, I tolerate her because my DD likes to play with her DD. No point in a blazing row when a bit of calm talking can do the trick just as well and much less stressfully. I still think she's an ignorant ***** but there you go.

Polly just tried eating my bloody finger.. she has the taste for human flesh..should I be worried?

I've also cooked Sunday lunch, been to S'bury's for a few bits, finished the washing (I'm so not counting the things DD added after I'd put the last lot in the machine!), and made a chocolate cake, cleaned the bathroom, and found most of the things I need to pack for next week. I rang Dad quickly, but my sister was there, so he's going to ring back later.

Cup of tea time I think....

Have you tried offering the rubble on freecycle / freegle? Could be an easier way of getting rid of it, someone might want it to make a path etc...

Be scared, be very scared Piggers!

Betsy the hen is taking rather a liking to trying to peck my fingers - should I be scared? Do you think she'll drag me into the pen and peck me alive?

Kaz, tried all that and no takers I'm afraid.
