ah well they told me they make sure i wont get charged0 -
I finally received my order this morning, nearly a week late, and the eggs have a use by date of tomorrow, i'm never going to get through 6 eggs in a day, is it worth me ringing up and complaining about this? I wouldnt mind if i knew the items had been free, but like the above poster, issues with my order have meant i've been charged twice, although hopefully now one charge has been cancelled, but even after mentioned i'd used the dmfb code i didnt get a refund on the other payment.
So you still had to pay for the products even though it was advertised as free?
Has it come out of your bank account yet - because if not you could cancel your direct debit (although i don't know if this would affect your credit rating - anyone else know?).
This is a disgrace - I signed up in good faith and if I liked the service I was going to use it fairly regularly.
The experience I have had has meant I've told several people about it and none of them will ever use Dairy Crest now - they paid a lot of money to advertise this in the Daily Mail and this has been a PR disaster for them.0 -
update on me: it never came on Monday, re-ordered it for Friday, it hasn't come again.. cant log on so don't know if I've paid for it not at all, once or twice!0

I had my delivery on time and without incident. I have now set up another account for my son who is at Uni and ill in bed with flu. Hopefully, he will have had a delivery this morning of essential stuff to see him through till he is upand about. It accepted the code (with a different email address, but using the same debit card) so I am hoping his delivery will go as smoothly as mine.
I will update when he lets me know.
ETA just got a text message from my son, all his stuff arrived safely this morning, and as I only ordered at 8pm last night I am very happy with the service. There is no way I could have got these items to him any other way as the order amount was not enough for the supermarkets to deliver without incurring a large charge, andI presume I got the first £5 of goods free.
So, in at least 2 areas of the country the service is working well as far as I am concerned. it is a shame many of you have had a bad experience, as if it works well it is a useful service to be able to tap into as it requires not much notice. I suppose it is only as good as the local milkman.0 -
My order didn't arrive either - I saw the milk van go past the house but it didn't stop. I phoned the depot to complain and they said they would get someone round that afternoon with my order. No order. So I phoned again and they apologised and said someone would pop round with my order. It was eventually delivered but with the wrong type of milk (full fat - yuck!). Won't be using again I'm afraid.0

I've been using this service regularly since my first order, every delivery has been spot on and there early in the morning (I get up at 6.30am and it's always there). Everything has been fresh and absolutely great.!! no complaints here at all.0

order came fine on mon morning with the dmfb code from the daily mail but no yog, she did explain they were oos and would come on next delivery wed. yes they came, but i think they were slung over my fence, as the yogs were popping out of the bag over the fence, like theyd been thrown. never mind. also used the SAVE5 code for fri delivery on sun night aswell, at the same time as when i put the delivery in for mon 1st march, but the trouble is, its showing up full price, and i had 2 discount codes, plus the things i ordered which were on special offer, hadnt even shown up as on offer, they show on the invoice as full price, so i dont understand. has anyone got the number to ring please? when the payment is supposed to go out of my bank? cheers0

update: Order for March 1st, nothing arrived due to 'technical glitch'. Rearranged for Friday.
Friday morning, nothing came, called up, was told I'd get something in the afternoon. Nothing came. Called up, rearranged for Monday morning before 8am.
Monday morning, nothing came. Called up, was told the 'milkman didn't want to deliver as he was worried the items might get stolen' :rotfl:
Have rearranged for Wed.0
