  • Got my order this morning before 7.30 very pleasaed, again my children have not experienced a milk man so thought it was wonderful as part of our goodies we had jersey milk on our cornflakes from a bottle.......They thought it was fantastic and so did I a real taste from my childhood the milk was yummy and we will be ordering again.Have lost count of the times that we have been stuck because of illness or getting back from holiday to an emptly fridge Great for my mum who is not very mobile as well will be setting up an account for her so she can get things when she feels under the weather.

Mine was left in a plastic bag on my doorstep at 1pm, which was annoying because it was supposed to be for breakfast, but we're going to have it tomorow so no problems :p

came but not very impressive, guy didn't bother to ring the bell even though I was at home, my instructions were if I wasn't home to put in the shed, he just left them on the door step...and the bread has a best before of tomorrow! (a loaf I bought 2 days ago from sainsbury had a longer date
    Yes Your Dukeiness :D
  • Mines came this afternoon, more of a dinner than a breakfast and left on the doorstep in the pouring rain, not even in a plastic bag.Iwas home too so a quick chap on the door would have been nice.Dont think i would use again but shouldnt moan as it was free.
  • I have a feeling that the special delivery instructions that we input to the website are possibly not being passed on to the milkmen, as so many of us have had our instructions ignored.

Has anybody actually been told by their milkman that they did receive their special delivery instructions?
Thanks to all who post constructively.

  • Ive done my account for DD payments when they invoice you on the 20th of the month any idea how many days after that it is when they would take the payment from your bank ? Just thinking if there was a problem with the £5 discount i could try & get it sorted before they take anything.
  • I use online banking so I simply cancelled the DD yesterday. If there's a problem they can contact me, and I'll explain that it was supposed to be free.

never thought of that ... what a great idea.. although I ordered dog food for £6.58 so they can email me and I will pay the £1.58,

hope the milk man in whatever area is not getting the £5.00 charges for goods though, hope he is getting reimbursed for goods delivered.

on another note, where do you suppose bob/steve/dave your local milkman stores all this food for delivery next day... yoghurts/milk (I accept), but dog food /cat food and some other randoms?
