  • I received my order complete sometime this morning. I work a night shift and it wasn't there when I got home at 6am, but when I got up at 2pm, it was there.

I had left instructions to leave behind the green wheelie bin so it's not in view of the neighbours, but it was left in front of the door in the pouring rain in no bags. I rate the value of the items I bought to be about £2.50 but 3 litres of orange juice, 2 pints of milk and some biscuits for £5.06 (6p) I can't complain.

I did everything by the book, including set up a direct debit, and entering the promotional code, so let's hope when the invoice is done on the 20th March, it is correct.

  • I dont feel veyr comfortable with this whole invoice thing though, as if they are giving you it for free they should just clearly do it as that, and not ask for your bank details and stuff at all
Yes, obviously everybody in life should give us free things and not expect anything at all in return. The reason they are doing it is so that people will continue using their service after they have had their freebies, and personally I don't think that them expecting payment details from you in return for £5 of free goodies is particularly unreasonable.
Thanks to all who post constructively.

Placed my order on Sunday to be delivered today as i knew i would need milk towards the weekend. Just shouted down to my son to let the cat in and the order was there waiting to be picked up exactly as it was ordered no substitutes. Whilst it is more expensive than going to the supermarket i will be using the service again for occassional usage.

Well my order arrived today, been looking forward to it all week :o

    Ordered small loaf
    Banana milk
    Fresh Orange Juice
    Pack of smoky bacon
    6 Large free range eggs.

    Received.::

    Large loaf
    Chocolate Milk
    Fresh Orange
    Pack of smoky bacon
6 Medium free range organic eggs

So 3 of my items were incorrect. I'm not complaining about that tho I am very happy that the majority of it was (will be) free :j

Don't know what time the milk man arrived but it was all on my doorstep when I went down this morning at 6.45am. Happy about the service and will definitely use again.

    Thanks OP for the thread.
