I know I live in Leeds not really rural and they don't deliver to me...

We live in South Yorks so maybe they dont do Yorkshire?

When I was in Sheffield we had a milkman and he was very useful, but delivered at 6am, good for husband when working early, but made me grumpy when he woke the baby:(.
  • Thanks to the op I got a pack of bacon (looks lovely!), 6 eggs and a bottle of orange juice totalling £4.95 and therefore free :D
  • Just ordered some -
    Smoked bacon
    Free range eggs
    Strawberry yoghurt
    Strawberry milkshake

  • mine was on the doorstep this morning, forgot all about it. bacon, eggs and crumpets.
    yummy
    thanks op
  • Stupid question but what do you do with the bottles from the milk when you're finished, as we wont be using the service again?
Do you just recycle them as normal or do they collect them or something. Haven't had a milkman before lol

Mine turned up after 2pm yesterday, along with a little note from the milkman apologising for being late, and with his contact number to call him.

I rang him and he said he does deliver round my estate at 0430am, but for some reason my internet order is not being packed in the morning by the staff, and instead he is having to go back to the depot after he has done his normal round to collect the internet order stuff.

He has told me to let him know the night before if I have ordered anything, or just leave a note on my doorstep as he delivers next door daily, and he will load it himself when he gets to work and deliver it in time for when I get up.
