fine but they dont (always) apply the code and then when you finally get thro on the phone (if your prepared to wait up to 20 mins on an 0845 number they tell you it will come of the next invoice or be refunded if you closed the account!... guess what I closed the account.. Im to busy to have to contact a company every month and this being my first order (was about to place a 2nd) it did not fill me with confidence... Im still waiting for the call of them to refund me..24 hours later and no reply to me email either...

You don't need to use the 0845 number, just put 08456063606 into the search box on the SAYNOTO0870 site, lots of geo numbers returned.

  • 0845 is 1 pence a minute and 0870 is 10p a minute so an hour call would be 6 pounds

I think BT might have stopped charging for those now on their otherwise free call deal?

Theres also a freepost address listed

Sorry I think you got my posting confused. They do not have an 0870 number listed. It is an 0845 number and i said to use Say no to 0870.
Many phone providers have inclusive call packages that include geographic numbers as part of the free inclusive calls but not 0845 numbers. So I provided a geographic number. :)

Just checked my invoice and they say they will take the £5 off my next bill, another long phone call tomorrow I think.

Yep thanks I used that. I also wrote in and they credited me back the inaccurate invoice amount and as well as that I changed my direct debit details on the site a couple of days before payment so I dont think that has been taken.

I'll do that again next month and hopefully the credit and unpaid debit which is not even real will then cancel each other out

I might even get to use up the eventual remaining credit as per the original offer in a couple months
  • When my items were delivered the orange juice was missing, fair enough i thought, won't complain for free! Just checked my online banking and £4.95 has been taken out of my account :(

  • its terrible, ive too been charged the full amount, also i bought some jaffa cakes that were on offer at the time should have been £2.50 for 24, was £1.25 for 24 so i bought 4 lots, 2 on 2 different days(27th feb) and some muller yogs which were £1.59 originally and on offer at £1 so again i bought 4 lots, 2 on 2 different days.
bought a few other things and my invoice said £18.81 i was shocked.
so i read on here that people wernt really doin anything till the money was actually taken out of their account. well ive waited nearly a month, it was taken out today, £18.81 i used the £5 discount but that wasnt taken off, plus all my jaffa cakes and yogs were charged at the full amount.
rang the lady and spoke to a lady, helen at customer services. told her about my situation, thinking she would refund me the £5 discount, and the difference from the offers. she was the most unhelpful lady i have ever met. she told me that because i ordered the offers on the 27th feb, because they finished on the 28th feb, and my order delivery wasnt delivered till the 1st march (the next day) coz 27th was a sat, 28th was a sunday and 1st was a monday, she told me that because it was actually delivered after the offer ended it wasnt valid! huh? she said something stupid like it said it in the terms and conditions , and i looked in the terms and conditions and it doesnt say anything of the sort. i told her that its misleading, and she said well prices can change at any time, we dont have to honour them, i told her that
'you just shot herself in the foot there havent you' and put the phone down. i was just shocked at her manarism. i will ring again tomorrow, but if i was you id ring your local depot, and not head office, as they are totally unhelpful. as for the daily mail £5 off code, DMFB she said it didnt recognise it as it was an old code. if you do want to ring head office (dairy crest) on a landline the number is 01372472200 hope someone else has better luck. its not worth £5 free?? for all the ringing up and chasing up you have to do for your refund. GOOD LUCK PEOPLE xx

  • I too had no probs - used the original 'mail' code once, ordered £5.16 worth of items and was charged 16p. Hope everyone with issues gets them resolved, but just wanted to say that it did work out ok for some. I would definitely use again for occasions when you 'run out' of basics ... and for the tasty strawberry milk!
