No discount showing on invoice, tried to ring alternative number ansaphone said to ring CS 0845 606 3606. Just rang spoke to really helpful chap after 7 mins on phone said he would apply both discounts to my invoice so we shall see! Hope it works cus to have a milkman where u can order up to 9pm night before works well for me even if they do only deliver 3days a week in my area! hope discount works for everyone, not to abuse offer but nice to keep milkmen in work!

i did this through the daily mail code, set up a weekly order for bread, milk eggs on a monday but the discount never showed on the account.
Have just had my first invoice and the £5 has been taken off now so all good!
Delivery has been good although it doesn't arrive till about 10.30am.
Happy so far, and it saves me a trip to the shops!

Happy to say that my £5 was taken off, and I now owe 6p which is being collected by direct debit. Going to try the free pint of milk offer later in the week.

Ok i'm NOT happy AT ALL!! the original £5.00 from the DMFB code came off, but my excess was £1.45, so they charged for that. But my order was incomplete, they sent extra eggs and the wrong cheese and orange juice with bits in it. I complained, they credited my account £2.94.
So i was effectively up by £1.49.
Then I placed another order using the MSE CODE as I was told I had to reorder to get the ORIGINAL discount. That was over the £5.00 by 32p. But order messed up again and was credited by £1.35. So I should be billed for £3.97. Minus the £1.49 leaves the Grand total of £2.46!! Or at least thats what I work it out to be.
But they haven't done anything to the 2nd invoice but to leave it PENDING!!!

Personally I shouldn't be charged anything! As I was MIS SOLD!! I only placed the 2nd order to get the first order discount!
I have no idea what the bleep i owe now!!!
And I dont want to call for no lengthy call! omgiddy! HELP!

I don't know what to do, just seen my invoice, following one messed up order which never arrived, customer services advised me to re-order, did so and re-entered the dmfb code, but despite my original order being £5.26, my invoice is charging me £10.52, even though a customer services rep promised the first lot of money would not be taken following the mistakes that meant my order never arrived. To be honest i wouldn't be bothered if only the £5 had not been taken off, but to not have the discount AND be charged for the one order twice has left me very unhappy. I'm fed up with spending half an hour on the phone to customer services each time, after being kept on hold for 15 minutes first, only for the matter to never actually be resolved. Should i just cancel my direct debit and inform them i'm only willing to pay the £5.26 by a one off payment or something? Advice would be greatly appreciated.

oh i completely understand your frustration amcl.....its a pain!!! i did want to do the same and just cancel my dd, but instead waited to see what my invoice outcome was on the 20th!

i too was told that i had to re-orders and fell for it!! bet we had the same ol bag tell us that after a lengthy call!!
it makes me cross as they are not honouring their promise and from a reputable paper too, it makes me furious(dont take much Sky are firing me up at the mo)

the thing is we and many are now left between a rock n a hard place to get our cases sorted! we face lengthy costly calls or just let it go (grrrrr)

I wonder if they'll honour MSE code next month....I used that one too, not to be greedy, but to get around the being charged for not regularily ordering to honour the first code!! Oh its a nightmare

sometimes its better to just not.......even go there in the first place, for the sake of a £5.00 worth of free food!!

lets see if i get my free milk using the other code floating about!!

moan over......Angel

Sorry to hear about your experiences. If I were in your situation, I'd be mad at being charged for an order that never arrived, followed by being charged again for the order that did, when it was supposed to be almost free in the first place.

If this was me, I'd try and resolve this by phone, but in the event that they tried to take £10 on my direct debit, I'd cancel the direct debit and leave the ball in their court to discuss whether I owe £10, or a few pence. By paying this amount and trying to claim it back, they have the upper hand of having your money, and you will have the hassle of unreturned phone calls and broken promises.

If they see on their systems that the payment is bounced, they will either try and recover this money in which case you have the chance to argue about the messed up order and the code, and offer to pay the few pence difference, or they will just write it off. The onus certainly won't be on you to keep chasing them.
• Just to inform, i am really impressed with my order and service. The delivery was before I got up at 6.45am...about 3 weeks or so ago. My statement says I owe 90odd pence, and I now have a milkman for emergencies. As far as I am concerned, this was another great MSE offer.

BTW, since when has the Daily Mail become reputable? Have I missed a change in editorship or something? :-)

Mine's just arrived. Not left in the porch where I had requested, but practically on the pavement. The potatoes are manky, the bacon crushed, and my milk is nowhere to be found! I definitely won't be using them again.
