  • on another note, where do you suppose bob/steve/dave your local milkman stores all this food for delivery next day... yoghurts/milk (I accept), but dog food /cat food and some other randoms?
When I was a milkman we used to collect all products we needed for that day out of the fridge at the depot, loaded up the float and off we went. Can't guarantee it's the same nowadays, as we didn't sell nearly as many products as they seem to now.
Thanks to all who post constructively.

Mine turned up before 6am. Placed where I had asked bread could have been fresher, very impressed. Awaiting the DD on the 20 now!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I phoned and they are having problems with the discount code, once your order is received just call them and they will fix it. Better doing that than just cancelling the dd and forgetting about it because that will just lead to another problem down the road, especially now you know that a quick call or letter will sort it.
    Nice to save.

mine arrived sometime this morning, as when I went down before 9am it was there, just sitting on my doorstep! brought it in and they have got a few bits wrong....they added eggs?? Orange juice has bis (urgg not a fan of bits) and the Cheese Minis were not Cathedral! Although my DD was all excited and wants them in her lunch next week...So thats a result!
anyhew checked my account with Milk n More and everythings pending. My overlap was £1.45.
Called them to query my incorrect bits, she's going to kindly refund them and the deduction will show on my invoice next month. So if i'm right Its all now FREE!

So thanks OP Great deal! Think I might use them again if they have Offers on.

***Handy tip leave a cool bag outside for the Milkman to put them inside! : ) *****

    Now thats service for you!
    Well Done Milk N More.
  • I have a feeling that the special delivery instructions that we input to the website are possibly not being passed on to the milkmen, as so many of us have had our instructions ignored.

Has anybody actually been told by their milkman that they did receive their special delivery instructions?

Nope, but when i phoned the local depot to make sure they got my instructions, they said the actual milkmen dont get to see the notes at all, so no surprise its not getting through. I used yell to get the local number for my depo.
Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.

    In reply to asharon's question - I just found this on the HUKD website;

    "Discount: 5
Minimum Spend: £0.00Promotional Code: SAVE5Expiry: 30/04/2010Instructions: Enter promo code SAVE5 once you're in your shopping basket and click go.

New customers only, applicable to customers who set up a regular payment method only.

    No minimum order.
But it does say new customers only, so I couldn't say if it would work on any other orders

  • Can anyone who has received theirs already confirm whether setting up payment by debit card is OK for this offer?

It does say on the DM site 'regular payment method'

I too used a debit card and the amount was taken from the account on day order was placed. I rang customer services and they said the card could not be added as it was not recognised but they could not answer why the money had been taken if hte card is not recognised. They credited account with the £5 but i wont be using them again via the online service.
