I thought my Original Post Made that clear.
Why on earth would anyone offer FREE BroadBand unless their was some revenue in it for them.PF.0 -

I assume that means I'd have to wait until (more likely if - it's very small) Sky get around to LLU-ing my exchange.
It appears to be £40 connection and then £17/month for 2mb - so 99p cheaper than BT (wow). Even if they drop the £40 connection charge, there's no chance of me being interested.
The 2mb package is free to Sky Customers. But their is the £40 Activation Fee!!!PF.0 -

You have to have your exchange LLU'ed before you can take up this offer..
I can get the sky broadband connect at £40 setup £17 mth, not LLU'ed yet so can't get the 2mb free deal..
No mention of when my exchange is to be LLU'ed either. Shame I'd like the 40gb cap up to 8mb at a fiver a mth!!

Is there another site that will tel me when my exchange will be changed as just got the standard 'connect only' reply. Got 2mb at the mo.0

Some info here:

But I couldn't get any future dates for Easynet which is owned by Sky0 -
Has anyone yet been offered a package other than the connect, I live within 8 miles from the centre of manchester and i only got offered connect.
Strange how they only want to offer me the £17 a month package!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
Yes, was told that the local exchange was enabled for the Sky products, or words to that effect. We live about 12 miles from M/cr. I think you'll find other posters have had the same experience though Sky's blurb does say something along the lines that they can only reach about 28% of the poulation now, though they intend this to be 70% by end of 2007.
I don't think I'd bother with the connect product at this stage but if I can get the others, as stated, it may be worth trying.0 -
sky have told me that my exchange will be up and running for all levels of broadband in the next few months so i to will just hold on and wait until then.0
