i don't know if you would class this as a try me free but the other day i rung up asda as their chicken portions that i buy all the time have surprisingly shrink alot so i rung up cpomplained and got £3 fom them.
i also rung them up as i bought a cooking sauce of theirs and the lid was stuck on so even when u had twisted the lid it would not come away from the glass jar they sent me £3 refund.
i bought a packet of cat nip drops for my cats and their was chokolate doggy bone in their and i wanted to let them know their sending me a £5 cheque will let u know if that ever arrives.
I also complained to whiscas as theirs pouches for cats portions have shrunk and my kittys are left wanting more i complained and they sent me a £3 refund.
All because they areall interested in improving their customers satisfaction

Well done on getting so many refunds/vouchers - you are right, companies do want to improve customer satisfaction and will usually compensate if you have a valid complaint. :T
However, these sorts of complaints are not really what this particular thread is about, although there are several threads on MSE about complaining (there's one here on the Freebies Board called Complaint Letter Successes). I have certainly done a bit of complaining myself, and have had quite a few vouchers and cheques back
Try Me Free promotions are slightly different - they are not complaints as such, although some TMFs ask for negative or positive feedback. I just thought I'd clarify this - they're specific products, and usually say Try Me Free on them. Posts 1 and 2 of this thread explain things a bit more.
Of course, there's nothing stopping us from doing TMFs and complaining about products we are not happy with - I like doing both.
Good luck with getting your £5 cheque!0 -
Just received my Somerset Brie refund this morning.

Hi, Boots are currently running this at half price - £11.25 instead of £22.50! :T I think the offer is on until early January. I bought it yesterday as its what I useanyway. Do you think I can send my 'old' bottle and 'new' receipt to Olay for the MBG??? Has anyone had success with this one?!?If we all lived to the rule 'an eye for an eye', the world would be blind...0 -

And speaking of using things up, I'm still only halfway through the VO5 tube of hair stuff and the closing date is end of December. I've had it for months! I might squeeze it into another bottle or something, and then I'll be able to send it off0
