Wasn't sure which section to put this in, hope it's in the right one. anyway...

i was in my local Londis store and bought a bottle of Gaymers Pear Cider for 86p (which is quite a good bargain anyway). However, it came with a green cardboard sleeve round the neck saying "TRY ME FOR FREE!". On closer inspection, it states that on returning the sleeve to the stated address, they will send you a cheque for "up to a maximum value of £1.99".

Although I haven't tried it yet, the offer is valid until 31st December 2008. (However, Londis are only selling them for 86p until 8th November). Haven't sent it off yet but will do and will let you all know whether i end up getting paid for drinking cider or not!
