I woke this morning to find my greenhouse on its side and all my `babies` everywhere
Winds were picking up last night and i went to bed worrying lol!
I have managed to salvage most, repotted but lost my big pot of Mizunaand a tomato plant!
Any tips on keeping my greenhouse secure? It is on my patio (back legs on earth, front on patio) i had placed heavy pots of stones on the bottom shelf and a bag of compost at the side of the greenhouse which clearly didnt work!!!DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j
Savings £132/£1000.0 -

Oh no  glad you managed to salvage most the stuff in it, that must have been dome hefty gust of wind. I cabled tied mine to a drainpipe, but not using it atm so I've put it away for now.Ahhhh.... lemony fresh victory is mineee!!!0 -

Oh no! It's a terrible feeling isn't it? After mine got blown about the first time, I went to poundland and got extra tent pegs and put loads more in. And we put a bag of rubble on the frame at the door every night. Can you find a more sheltered spot, a corner maybe? Mummy to an amazing little girl0 -
How is everyone today? Good I hope.
Mixed day here so far, cloudy and still a bit windy, but the sun is trying to come through, so fingers crossed. I have a list of jobs as long as my arm that I could be doing!
Had my first strawberry last night! Very nice.
I missed a parcel yesterday and I'm hoping it's something from T&M... Mummy to an amazing little girl0 -

Sorry to hear this. It's horrible when you care for plants and then loose them when there is nothing you could have done about it. My idea- is it possible to use tent pegs and some kind of line for the soil side. Is there anything these could be tied to on the patio side.0 -

I can't even walk uphill without getting out of breath, it kills you doesn't it!! I love it though it's so MSE, doesn't cost a thing.
The neighbours burnt their bonfire for hours, they have one all the time, they just burn old junk I think. Had to close the windows and doors though yuk
they keep cutting the hedge dead low as well when all I want is privacy in the garden, they are ok though some people have awful neighbours don't they.
I can't even run that! I'm sooo unfit these days, I keep saying I'll get fitter...Yes, total killer lol.
Grr to your neighbours, but yes it could be worse. I'm lucky really, even though this is a new house, I'm not really overlooked and rarely see anyone. Mummy to an amazing little girl0
