  • P.S. We got seven new hens on Friday night - they're Barnevelders, and 16 weeks old so a bit young to be out with the old girls yet, but they are very cute and have worked out how to eat the lettuces we've given them already, and how to scratch for corn in their run (& how to eat layer's pellets too!). Will have to be even more careful to keep all the veg covered next year!
