Yes they will be. I noticed mine around 2 week ago and they are now starting to flower heynonnynonny. I can't see yet whether they are m or f though.
Cheers, there are loads of them. On courgettes are some flowers m and f on the same plant or are some whole plants m and f (if that makes sense). I have about 5 or 6 plants so hopefully better chance of pollinating, if not will have to do IVF for the vegAhhhh.... lemony fresh victory is mineee!!!0 -
arghh bl**dy builders....got some builders doing work on the side of the house..and all the dust from the concrete and masonary work has covered all my plants in the glass house:(
I was not at home to make sure the door was closed.0 -

I don't know for sure but looking at some pictures it seems the plants have both m & f. I sure someone will correct me if wrong.0 -
Don't feed until it's time for them to flower. If you do, they'll just grow more leaves at the expense of the fruit.
It's really difficult being patient but guess how I know this :rotfl:
LOL! Patience isn't my strong point, but thanks for the hint. I'll resist feeding them any more until I see some flowers :rotfl:0 -

We paid the £9.99 ages ago when the offer first started and ours haven't yet arrived either
BTW, each courgette plant will have both male and female flowers. You need pollination on courgettes to get courgettes, so don't remove all the male flowers.0 -
Well the tomatoes are getting lots of flowers on them, the french beans are really starting to take off.
Lots of strawberries coming, as well as rhubarb about ready now, so overall things are starting to come on and reaping the benefits:beer::j2016 Money challenge - £2900 -

i bought 2 pak chois from the local school 2 weeks ago. Planted these in middle of raised bed, and they have seemed to have grown almost double in size! How does one know when they are ready to pick? (do you the leaves or is there a root vegetable, or both?)0

you eat the stems and the leaves. I slice them finely and throw them in a stir fry. You can slice in half and chargrill them too.
We sometimes have them as baby leaves raw in salad.0 -

Excuse the ignorance but how do you IVF them? TIA0
