I don't think anything could have gone wrong as they look healthy enough but to be honest they don't look like mine (I thought they did look a little like cress too!!). What variety are they? Mine are organic mixed leaves from Unwins. Thats not to say they are perfectly ok - time will tell0 -
What a good day I've had... OH and I cleared all the ivy back off the wall, and brambles and dead rose bush behind kennel, and moved kennel.. I now have a bigger garden.. yippeee
Man with a van coming to collect all our junk tomorrow from garden and shed - I'm really excited.
Also whilst we were talking to neighbor in flats, they said we could use the end of their garden to plant some staff too - and share the vegThey want potatoes, which should be easy enough, and thinking the rest of space I'll take up with plug plants from farm shop for stuff I didn't have space for.. so.. most happy right now. Will post pics when rubbish has been moved! Now I don't know what to do with the space, but will enjoy planning

Right ... I've got the morning off tomorrow so I'm intending to get a bit done.
I want to be sowing some French Beans and some Courgettes in pots inside. Silly question: but is there a 'right' way to do this? Do the seeds have to go a certain way up? How deep in the compost do they need to be? I don't want to kill them before I've even started!!
Any ideas gratefully accepted

oh oh oh oh what an exciting day ... my sweetcorn has poked it's wee head through ... only about a mm but it has burst through the soil ...
then i noticed my courgettes had popped out again (this seems to be happening with my runner beans alot for some reason) so i pushed one back in then went to push the other back in ... only to find it had grown and what i was seeing was the start of the plant with the shell on top of it ... kinda like a wee chick or something ... with this being the case ... i think i may have killed the other one that i pushed in yikes ... but happy days for the wee shoots ...
we also have a frame up and two doors on the polytunnel now it is slow slow work but getting there ...
right i'm off to see if anything else wants to show me what they look lilke ... the carrots would be nice to meet i think0 -
