Indeed! I eventually spoke to a helpful lady at voda who said that they should have them in stock by this afternoon and she would text me either way by 5pm, still waiting for that text!! lol. I wasn't expecting it to be honest....

Anyways, heres hoping that if i order tomorrow it won't take toooo long to get to me :)

I was told Saturday that Vodafone are getting stock Wednesday.

Incidentally my Brother rang T-Mobile over getting this handset and quoted what Vodafone had offered him - 600 mins, unlimited texts and internet with free phone and they could not manage to meet it. Especially not with the £150 cashback from Quidco.

So another customer lost from T-Mobile.

Incidentally if you look at the Desire on £30 a month T-Mobile contract lasting 18 Months, they actually want £380 for the handset. This is stupid. You can buy it SIM free for £387 from Handtec and £399.43 from Amazon!!!!

    http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/mobile-phones/phones/pay-monthly/htc/desire/price-plans/

Edit: The £380 price is so laughable I rang up as a prospective customer and was told over the phone it was £380. I said did you know you can buy it outright for £387 from Handtec or £399.43 from Amazon and then go on a 30 day contract. I then asked how much the handset subsidy was in that tariff and they hung up. Hahahah ROFL.

I was lucky enough to get a phone from T-Mobile a few weeks back, however I've noticed problems with calls that are suddenly cutting off. I thought it was me, maybe my ear is touching the screen while I'm talking but, today I had the phone on the passenger seat of the car, using headphones to make a call and, it cut out, signal appeared fine and, this happened 3 times in a row.

Is it just me or has anyone else had this probelm........

    Cheers

Everyone moaning about T-mobile putting the prices up... hardly surprising when they are the only network (ok maybe Orange too) that have the phone and people are gagging to get this phone how good it is...

Anyway just try places like MPD. Thats where I got mine from on a great deal.

I am in no hurry. Mine will come at some point. I'd rather wait than be seen off.

I phoned Three yesterday to see what deal they would offer me on the htc desire. (my contract ends in a month and I've been with them since they first launched years ago)
They told me that it wasn't available to existing customers, only new customers!!
I've just spoken to virgin media (Im an existing customer) and they offered

    600 mins
    unlimited texts
    unlimited web (fair useage 1gb)
    free phone
    24 months
    £25 a month

Does this sound like a good deal?

Virgin offerd me exactly the same deal today as an existing Virgin Media customer. They wouldn't improve on that offer at all.

I have the Desire on the Flext 35 plan and it comes with 3GB of data so that should not be a problem.
A good friend of mine has just got this as a deal from Orange. The Desire on Panther 35 (18 month contract) for £25.00 pm. Seems like a good deal to me.

do you know what data allowance your friend has on orange

Can someone tell me if the HTC desire's available from Orange and T-Mobile are the same colour?

I went to both stores earlier and the colours looked slightly different - not sure if it was just the lighting in the stores?

T Mobile sell the 'standard' brown one. Orange have an exclusive black one and I bleieve Three have an exclusive graphite one.
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die
