It looks as if the screen protector you are posting about is not EXACTLY for the Desire!? I also think that, for what you are getting, it is expensive!bubblesmoney :hello:0

Just had an email from Zagg, late in the day!!! Last week I entered their Ipad competition in the belief that I would get an email back offering a large discount on their products (50%). This email and voucherr code never arrived, however I'm pleased to report that it just arrived offering 50% off Zagg products, so it's worth entering the Ipad competition to get the discount.
BLIMMIN HECK, I'VE JUST REALISED I'VE GOT 4 STARS!!! CALLOO CALLAY, OH FRABJOUS DAY!!!0 -

Thanks for that, although it's listed it's not available until 12th May. My handset arrives tomorrow so I guess I will just have to take extra good care of it until then!!0 -
I've just been offered a very very enticing deal from Orange which ticks all the boxes bar one: data!
They only offer a 500mb fair usage policy. How are you Orange users getting on with the Desire and, going forwards, do you think it is sufficient for every day usage, without having to worry about whats connected/whats using 3G/whether or not to view online videos/etc?
I have approx 1 day to decide so feedback from you data users on the Desire would be much appreciated!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Had and e-mail today from Voda to say they are taking pre orders for the Nexus one.
Will be interesting to see the plans they have and how well it sells.0 -

This device is pointless without large amounts of fast data, the phone aspect is almost a secondary function to its ability to be a permanently connected internet device for GPS, Sat Nav, streaming media, browsing and web apps. When Android based smartphones are everywhere within the next year and a statistical rival to the Iphone then 500mb will be far too little to deal with some of the incredible software which will be available.
To get an idea of what you can expect and why 500mb will be too small watch this video.

It's hard to say if 500MB will be enough for you. For me it probably would be as I use WiFi at home and I can also connect to WiFi at work. So I don't use 3G a lot. However if you need to use 3G all day it may well be too little. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
One thing I'd note too:
The 500mb will just be fair usage, rather than a data cap. You wouldn't be charged for exceeding this, plus if a lot of people go over the 500mb the amount of data is likely to be revised.
So, I wouldn't be too hasty in declining the offer :j0 -
Thanks for the feedback!
I too have WiFi access whilst at home and possibly in the office [depending on location].
However I am worried that 500mb will prevent the full potential of the Desire to be realised and enjoyed - hence my post and the preventing factor as to me agreeing to the deal there and then.
And yes, it is a fair usage policy, not a cap. Therefore you can go over, by how much, I am not sure. Also am not sure of the subsequent penalties [I've heard Orange and Vodafone could impose further costs per Mb whilst T-Mobile simply throttle data connectivity].
I guess 500mb rules out the potential of tethering...!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
