I've got both WaveSecure and Lookout, but that's only because WaveSecure was free up until 31st March.
Edit: Looks like Wave secure is still free. HTC Apps0 -
Just a note to the above and those of you on Orange, my phone is setup for wireless at home and in my office.
Why am I babbling? Well Net Counter tells me today I used 18.80MB. If I continued with my little browsing, no use of youtube or opening of attachments, then I'd use 376MB.
The 500MB seems very low.
In two days, I've hit 48.45mb  I've not even been on youtube yet!0 -
is anyone using a o2 payg sim /w "text and web" in their Desire?
Topup: minimum £10 per month
300 free texts & Unlimited Internet (fair usage = 500MB per month)0 -
As a furture desire owner, I've been keeping an eye on all the apps I should be getting and I notice that iTag is a free remote locator which can be used to wipe the phone too if it's stolen etc.

Looks interesting. I like the idea of geotagging but at the same time sometimes I might just have to switch it off.0 -

Works in the US only though according to their website, although they are supposed to be releasing it for other countries in May.

That is from Feb 2010.
If you go to the Wavesecure website it shows a s a free trial then you have to pay.

Incidentally I've got voice input working following this guide
http://nimbu.amorvi.com/2010/04/add-full-voice-to-text-to-htc-desire/
Although I didn't bother with the keyboard bit as once I'd installed the voice app the microphone icon appeared ont he tandard keyboard.
I think I need to develop an american accent or somethign though. I tried it with the Navigation software and tried to navigate to "The Labour in vain pub", it tried to find "The Labour in funny poop".It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -

I wouldn't bother with it. Both Lookout and WaveSecure do the same job, and much more like allowing you to back up your data and lock / unlock your phone remotely. And they work in the UK.0 -

Looks like I managed to get it before they started charging then. I still think Lookout is a very good alternative.0 -
