Comes with a USB / car socket dongle that I've buried behind the car panelling, and clips onto the sun visor. FM transmitter, bluetooth connection to the phone for phone calls and music (works great including track skip/pause in Spotify)... decent quality for music and voice calls (dual microphones help) and all through the car speakers!
For the price, love it (shop around through Froogle ... available from about 60 quid).
Love the fact the phone pauses spotify when a call comes in / is made, then automatically resumes when the call ends. Simple things!

here is a full list of shops where htc desire is available as per the htc website http://www.htc.com/uk/where_to_buy.aspx might help those interested in getting one on PAYG or contractbubblesmoney :hello:0

just found out that the htc desire phone is in stock in 2 places within 12miles from my place and are available to upgrade customers or new customers. BUT they cant offer the same upgrade deal of customer options or retentions. the only deal the shops can offer is the standard 750mins with internet with free phone for 35£ a month whether one is buying one phone or more. they cant do the same deals because the shops are a different arm of the 3 corporate structure apparently.
one store which didnt have the stock said that they are getting more stock tomorrow. another said will be a week before they get new stock.bubblesmoney :hello:0 -

I was downloading a DVD image of some software I needed for work. I get full HSDPA signal in the office so it was quicker to download it on my phone than over the network at work. I have also downloaded quite a few CD images from MS Technet on my phone and as I said, never been charged extra or contacted about it.0 -

I use Lookout - sits in the Android task bar and can be set to autoscan all downloads. Also backs up to their website and can be used to lock a missing device. Completely free."Who throws a shoe, honestly?"

havent used stuff like that on a mobile before. just familiar with usual norton kaspersky mcafee etc for computers and not such stuff for phones, hence my query. remember reading somewhere that the desire has facilities for remote wiping the memory or locking the device if stolen, but dont remember where i read itbubblesmoney :hello:0 -
Wavesecure offer a similar service to Lookout with remote wiping of your data but they charge $20 a year. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends

The SP700 is the previous model. Can't recall off the top of my head what the one is I bought though, and I'm not near my car now!Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

3 don't charge if you go over the "fair use", but they do send really, really annoying text messages. Their blog suggests they will regularly review the limit, given the explosion of new smart phones... streaming spotify, voip, 'real' internet, photos etc. etc.Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009.
