I can't believe that no one can get close to the mobilephonesdirect £25 with free phone for 300/300/unlimited.....
Is there somewhere I have missed?
Only problem is my g/f is currently on T-Mob and wants to keep her number so can't go for that as a new deal
Not much price difference between the MPD and T-Mobile 18 month contracts but, do you still get the flexible boosters if you buy via MPD?0 -
On the t-mobile site, there are a couple of 18month deals on the desire but the handset costs £129.99.
Has anyone managed to get a discount on that price?
Lastly, is 1gb fair usage for internet enough for a android phone?0 -

If you go back a few pages you will see that some people got very heavy discounts upgrading to the Desire with T-Mobile. So basically yes, if your already with T-Mobile and due an upgrade you should be able to get a good dealComp wins 2010 (Feb onwards) - loads of books, CD, Toys, Photographic lighting rig, Mobile phone, 16GB ipod Nano, Digital cameraComp wins 09 - £4500, 08 - £345.70!0 -

Well there you go finally took the plunge I could wait no longer.
Called the first time (welsh contact centre) and the girl I spoke to was not very helpful "sorry we cant budge on the handset price it will be £129 how does that sound?" not very good I said and swiftly hung up.
Even though I had mentioned the cashback deals and discounts I had seen she didnt budge.
So I waited for 5 minutes and composed myself for call number 2, phoned through and again the welsh contact centre. Oh no I thought, until I spoke to the lovely emma.
Told her I was interested in the 300min/texts for 24mths @ £15 she said the handset for that price plan is £129.
Oh I said is there any discount on the handset she replied em maybe I have not used much of my discounts today wait a minute. She put me on hold for 2 minutes and returned to say I was getting it for £89.99. :j
Happy happy days in the space of five minutes saved £40 and dont have to use cashback sites.
At the time she said there were no stock and she would call me when they came in.
Got a callback an hour later saying the phone was in stock and I am getting it delivered on saturday woop woop0 -
Just rang Voda and they have said that the Desire is due in today but they do have the Legend. First offering was 300 Mins, Unlim Texts and Internet, Free phone for £30 p/month on a 24 month contract. Not a bad starting point but want 18 months and closer to £25 p month and on Desire !0

Thanks for helping me look, but still a bit pricey. If it was £330-ish i would have bought it.
Since a desire could be had for £380 last week, i dont think its only worth £10 more for a faster processor. (The desire's design is not for me)

I've been trying to get the Desire on Virgin since yesterday, but the website isn't working and when I phoned them, they tried charging me a fiver more than it states in their press release (I'm an existing Virginmedia customer)
Anyone else had any luck?0
