The speed is the same no matter what tariff you are on.

SAVER007: Were you coming to the end of your contract, or were you asking as a new customer for the discount?

    Hi Tony,

Im a new customer transferring from 3 after five years as there retention offers were shocking. Was checking the threads on hotukdeals for weeks before I took the plunge but it seems as if £40 is the max they will discount it. Dont mention cash back just ask what the best discount you can give as £40 is the max. If you start mentioning cashback sites and say "quidco is giving £25 back or whatever" then it stands to reason they will match that if you dont quote an amount then chances are you will get the full £40.

And another thing if you dont get what you want keep calling till you do.I read on another thread the person took five attempts but eventually got what they wanted.:T

    Cant wait till saturday :rotfl:

I just checked my T-Mobile page and it's still showing my old price plan and minutes, it's not showing the new one. The lady I spoke to didn't give me a date or anything. She said I will receive it as soon as it comes into stock, the price of the handset would be charged onto my next bill. I did immediately receive a text saying thank you for upgrading I will receive a text within the next 7 days with details of when to expect delivery of my new handset. Did anyone else receive this...

Not sure if it's been mentioned in this thread anywhere (17 pages and can't be bothered to check!) but Three have released their pricing.

£35/mo (24 month contract) - free handset. The ONLY plan the phone will be available on.
£349.99 on PAYG (-£8 with Quidco)

With T-mobile, what speed is the unlimited internet? Does it run at HSDPA speeds even on the cheaper (eg. £15pm) contracts?

I get 3g indoors where I live. Outside, it drifts between 2g and 3g because of where the mast is. I drove into town, and found HSDPA everywhere.
