Just called Orange. The Desire is due in at anytime and is expected over the weekend
I just called Orange and the girl said it's another couple of weeks but didn't have a firm date?
I'll be in town tomorrow anyway so might drop in past the shop and see if they're saying something different!
Contract isn't up til June but can upgrade now and I really desire the Desire
Guess I'll have to keep sitting tight and googling 10 times a day....What's fur ye won't go by ye!0 -

The bit about "unlimited web access" bothers me when on the linked page it says:
"Unlimited web access for 30p a day You only pay on the days that you access the Internet from your phone."0 -
Just picked one up from the Virgin Media store in Preston. As an existing Virgin Media customer I got the phone for free on £25 per month for 24 months, 600 mins, unlimited texts and internet and 3 months free insurance. Also available free on 18 months for £30 :j0

I saw that too, particularly with the Simplicity for smart phones £25 tariff - 900 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited data. It's just that up-front cost of the handset to contend with. I wish O2 would hurry up and announce their prices for the Desire.I'm thinking about buying the Desire sim free (from handtec or clove) with the current cashback on offer from o2 at TopCashBack it would work out:
~£487 over 12 months.
see £200 cashback on 12-mth o2 SIMplicity SIM-only mo...
ps. I noticed Amazon and eXpansy's increased their price for the Desire to £440 recently...0
