Recieved the phone today - its definately a HTC Desire - lol.

Checked online and my tariff has been changed to Pay Monthly 15 (24 months) - 300min/300sms - unlimited net - plus the booster I asked for (europe/australia) - £15 per month.... Plus £5pm loyalty discount.

    So yes - I'm happy.

    A free HTC Desire, 300min/300sms + net + booster - 2yrs - £10 per month.

    Can't complain at all.

(Haven't charged i yet - so lets see if its DOA!!! - LOL!!!)

I've just looked at the website. You got a £249 discount on a £15 per month tariff
Comp wins 2010 (Feb onwards) - loads of books, CD, Toys, Photographic lighting rig, Mobile phone, 16GB ipod Nano, Digital camera

    Comp wins 09 - £4500, 08 - £345.70!

Have just got my Desire direct from T-Mobile. CPWs website shows they now have the Desire in stock as well.

Some of these T-Mobile deals are really good, my Orange contract just ended so I don't have the bargaining power of existing T-Mobile customers. Still the £15pm offer with the phone at £95 is decent enough, the boosters are a good idea too. So tempted to go for it, as the other networks are taking their time.....

Im impressed! I wont get anywhere near that with Orange retentions, whatever you did/said it sure as hell worked :T

The incriminating pictures of the retentions guy worked well for me.

The evo 4g will be sold in the USA only under the name HTC Supersonic. It won't be available in Europe, and you won't be able to import it either as it's a CDMA device and won't work here. It looks very nice, but trust me, the Desire is close to the perfect phone. I've barely scratched the surface of what it can do.

I wouldn't be suprised to see a GSM version towards the end of 2010/early 2011, but HTC wouldn't want to risk damaging sales of the Desire in Europe too early in it's lifecycle.
